Rules and regulations and judging.


Judging: drivers will be judged on basically every aspect of your drift, style, speed, angle, line, smoothness, overall impression.

3 judges or less will be in spectator view.

Qaulifying scores and how it works:

In qualifying if you hit the designated speed in the designated speed zone drivers will get a bonus of 10 points.

Qaulifying is a run with a single driver and is granted 2 judged runs with 1 practice run.

Qaulifying can be sent via replay with a staff memeber in the lobby or show up to the appointed Qaulifying lobbies

Drivers will be rewarded a max of 20 points for angle, line, and style, and a max of 30 of overall impression witch will be wow factor basically.

Qaulifying/battles could be reviewed once per round in a respectful manner.

Any trash talking or disrespect towards drivers will be a 0!

Overtake rules:

At drivers meetings i will explain where drivers can not overtake.

If follow car overtakes lead car and causes contact in any way the overtaker gets a 0



Car regulations:

Car must be 25k initial buy price or under (upgrades do not count towards your budget in any way just the car counts towards it)

650hp max or under.

No race or drag slicks.

No positive camber in the front tires.

Car must have full roll cage.

Car must be rwd.

Car must be front engined.

Car must be s class or under.

Max of 265 rear tire width or under.

How the bracket works:

Depending on your Qaulifying score thats where you land in the bracket.

Its a single elimination, if you lose, your out for the rest of that round.

If you win you advance to the next heat of the competition.

If we get less then 25 people we will do a top 16 if more we will do a top 32.

We will have 5 rounds and a point standing bracket.

I know doing the same track 3 times is boring but thats what golden gate drift does in real life and we are trying our best to replicate that experience.

Drivers are allowed to have 1 backup car, to sign up your backup car just quote your previous car signup and put your backup car info in

We will run the 17th man rule just like d1gp meaning if a driver that made it in the brackett and does not show up the next lowest qualifier that did not make it in the brackett will move up and take his spot
