Did you already collect the last barn find from one of the hubs? It should unlock when you add the car to your garage

Anyone else blew money restoring early by accident?

OK, so I've found all ten barn finds, yet when I go to the Barn Finds menu it still says 'new' (I've heard this could be a glitch) but there are still four more placeholder squares as if there could be more added at a future date....

What does anyone else think?

TBH I haven't looked but will when I get the chance. That would be awesome if they did add more. I love the old classics especially the sounds of them.

Do you mean upgrading before the 10% perk?

I upgraded my cars when I got them.

You are given an option to restore the cars early for a high price by hitting the 'collect' option on the barn-find screen before the vehicle is ready. It is really easy to double-tap the button and buy it out by accident and spend all of your money.

Never even saw that option lol.

So nope didn't get any of mine early.

I simply waited for her to take her time and continued in the championship I was in. It does't take her long to restore - especially if you find them near when you are about to get off.

As for the new barn finds tag, that seems to be a glitch. I've had all the barn finds for a while, and each time I go into my garage the barn find tabs still reads new.

Barn Finds as DLC would be great, I loved seeking them out. Plenty more barns around the map to hide 'em in...

Barn Finds are alright but they're way too easy to find. The search area it gives you needs to be bigger. Never felt like an achievement when I found them in those small search areas. Always an anti-climax being so easy..

Barn find number 5? When I got this barn find it was the mk1 capri, but my boy has got unlocked number 5 and it was the Jaguar?

So I went from the GTO BF4 to BF5 capri and he got the GTO at BF4 but the Jag at BF5? He's gutted lol was so looking forward to getting his capri.

The order you get them in is random. Same as FH1. That's why you got the Capri and he got the Jag.

But everyone I know got the capri at number five, you sure there random?

I've found all 10 and no achievement either.

Pretty sure. Here's the order I got them in if you want to compare:
1. Renault Alpine
2. VW Bus
3. 288 GTO

10. Miura

*4-6 may be out of order, for the life of me I can't seem to remember the exact order I found those three, but I think it was in that order. I guess they are random still, but it seems like a lot of people found the Renault first, then the Bus. Maybe only a few are coded as random? Namely the Jeep, GTO, Capri, and Jag.

So seems everyone gets the Alpine first, and the 250 GT, Birdcage, TZ2, and Miura last. The others in between vary?

Hi there. I have found all the barn find cars, but for some reason instead of having 10 unique car's I have 2 of the 1984 Ferrari GTO? Actually I just went through and checked and I do have all ten car's but it does show in my garage that there are 2 of the Ferrari for some strange reason? I know sometimes my game will lock up for a few seconds and the sound will become unbearable and kick me back to the dashboard. It did that when I was attempting to DL a paint job of a batmobile and now I cannot find that design and it did not apply to my car. Any1 else with issues like this?

So I guess I'm the chosen one to be lucky enough to have 11 car's out of 10 barn finds, granted 2 are the same car but yay me!?

Just to clarify for those who can't get the achievement: When the mechanic says that the restoration is done, you have to manually go to a Horizon hub, pick Barn Finds, then pick the car that she restored, so that it is added to your garage. If you don't do this, the car she restored isn't usable, and you can't get the achievement.

I only noticed this because in one of the 'retro supercars' races, i was surprised the Ferrari GTO never showed up even if the mechanic says she fixed it. So I looked for it under Barn Finds and there it was. I couldn't use it until i selected it in the Barn Finds menu, which moved it to the Garage menu. Kind of an odd game design decision but, just a minor issue, really.
