Hey guys,

I got my copy of FH 2 yesterday, is there a way to test drive like in FM 5 or even a test track where I won't have to drive through any traffic while trying to tune my cars?
The only way I have been able to tune without any cars on the road so far is by going into rivals, but this is quite a hassle because I have to restart everytime I want to make any changes to my tune

There are cars in the game and you drive with traffic almost all the time. Simply, test and tune with traffic in the way to see how the car will perform under real situations.

I have found a couple areas I rather like to test tuning, though they're all based off of particular portions of races in that given area. If you haven't done the race, it's hard to use the same route, but I may be able to find some pictures of the map after work and draw out my test routes on them for you.

That would be a great help thanks, even just a screenshot of the area on the map would be great and should be able to find it with no problems. I'm new to the tuning scene and so far I'm having fun at tinkering with my cars and seeing what works and what doesn't. Hopefully sooner rather than later I will be able to share some tunes on here with you guys.

There are a couple of areas around Sisteron that provide a good testing area that I have used for portions of my tunes. Starting on the white road under the Sisteron Horizon Hub head East and underneath the last dirt road make the 180 degree corner. Follow that road and make a second left then make a second right. Follow that road and make a left at the roundabout and continue to where you started.

Another variation follows a close route. Start at the same place, and make the same 180 degree turn. Ten take the third left (at the T Intersection) follow by another immediate left. Take a right at the roundabout, but stay in the road/lane don' cut it, and make the next right. Then finish the same as the above route.

This helps me get good braking into corners, and a variety of city turns that help with some tuning. Just driving twice as fast as would be reasonable (for the environment) in Nice can also help you with the variety of situations. Those are definitely the two more technical parts of the map.
