Contests and In-Game Gift List for Forza Horizon 2

This thread will be updated to point users toward FH2-related contests and sweepstakes with prizes. Prizes may include software, hardware, merchandise, or in-game gifts. Most of the information here is pulled from official threads in the Community Events forum or News section of FM.net. See also my calendar of contests and FH2-related events at bit.ly/ForzaCalendars. Contests will most likely be limited to the Xbox One version but I will include and note any that are also for the Xbox 360 version.

Disclaimer: Remember to click the links provided in each post and read the official rules - I am only listing the opportunities here for quick reference; the responsibility is on the entrant to comply with and meet all requirements.

IGN Forza Decal Design Contest

• Overview: Create a decal in Forza 5, take a screenshot, and submit the image to IGN via their entry site. (U.S. residents)

Bringing E3 Home - Creative Response Competition/Exclusive Xbox UK Event

• Overview: Entrants (UK residents only) were to tweet a response to a specific @XboxUK tweet, telling Xbox why they deserve to attend an exclusive Xbox event.

Forza Fuel

• Overview: Choose one of eight teams who will complete challenges, and participate throughout the event via Twitter. Register by website, mail, or the Forza Fuel experience on the console dashboard. Each entrant will receive an in-game reward for making their team selection. The ranking of your selected team at the end of the road trip will determine which of the 8 random draws you are entered in for additional prizes.

Hot Wheels Livery Contest

• Overview: 1) Create an original Hot Wheels-themed livery on the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in Forza Motorsport 5 using the in-game livery creation tools. 2) Your livery must use one or both of the provided Hot Wheels decals found in the manufacturer decals section of the Forza 5 livery tool. 3) Once your livery is complete, share it and use the description “Hot Wheels Forza Livery.” Judging criteria: 25.00% - Originality, 50.00% - Use of Hot Wheels Logo, 25.00% – Beauty

It was 11am but they cancelled the feed due to technical issues

so nobody can win the free copy of Horizon 2 then ?

FH2 Launch Party event at Microsoft Stores

• Overview: Microsoft Stores in the U.S., Canada, and PR are holding a launch party for FH2 beginning September 30. Be one of the first 50 people in line at a full Microsoft Store or the first 25 at a specialty Microsoft Store to receive a SWAG Bag.

Just an FYI that under the terms and conditions for the event, it looks like you have be purchasing/picking up your copy of the game from the Microsoft Store to get the SWAG (i.e., you couldn't pick up your game from elsewhere or digital download and get the SWAG). If someone finds out differently, please let us know.

The last Q&A on the FAQ makes me think you might be able to show your online Microsoft Store pre-order receipt (shipped to you) and still receive the bag. But yeah, they may just hand the bags to those in line to pick up the game and not those who just want to go into the store to shop for other things.
