Well the last 2 days or so I cannot load forza 7. ITs saying my save game has been corrupted and to delete them. But Its give no instructions to do so except email forza for help. So thats what I did and am waitng a reply. Anyone know how to fix this I have over 90 hours and dont know what to do. I cant even play the game at all.

This where my saves are? All google searches do not 100% confirm this is the location. I copied my files but have not deleted them yet.

Why is there no instructions to delete the saves on a pc as thats the platform Im using. That terrible error message.

I had the same issue with a corrupted game save in the cloud. This is how I was able to start from scratch again and overwrite the corrupted cloud save:

1. Reset the App in Windows Settings/Apps/FM7/Advanced Options
2. Start the Game
3. Cancel the Sync
4. Go through the starting sequence
5. Quit FM7
6. Start FM7
7. Select local game save

Your progress and cars will be gone.

I had logged a call with Forza Support and they said, they couldn't restore any lost progress.

I had the same experience as FurrySpy815. After waiting for a week for Forza Support to look into it, I bit the bullet and abandoned my corrupted save with a bunch of claimed reward credits and cars, but little career progress. I followed the same steps FurrySpy815 posted except that canceling the sync wasn't enough. I needed to completely disconnect from the internet to prevent the game from syncing with the cloud. After creating a clean local save, I was able to reconnect to the internet and overwrite the bad save in the cloud.

Feels bad to give up on that save, but at least I can play now. If it happens again, I'll give up on FM7.

Hi all, i have same problem now. When i try to create new local save via steps from FurrySpy815, i get new error - The signed in profile has changed. So Im unable to recreate my save.
Im discussing it with official support for more than 2 months, but they still sending me the same **** - DO IT VIA PROVIDED STEPS.

Can someone help me?

It appears that this has been an ongoing problem for a long time now. It's a bit galling to read "This error is not something the users can prevent, so wait for an official patch" in an article written 6 months ago (https://gamingdope.com/how-to-fix-forza-motorsport-7-load-failed-in-windows/). One thing I'm absolutely certain about is that I will not be doing is starting career mode over again from scratch.

I knew better than to invest any time or money into a Microsoft game, so shame on me for trusting them again. Won't happen again.

Their response is below. First of all why would I not get direct correspondence from a Microsoft entity instead of having to search myself on twitter? Thats beyond absurd. What kind of support team post on twitter for errors? What kind of garbage is this? Ive been playing this game for years with out issue and this is the support I receive? Im not using twitter. I have no need beyond seeking support from a MS game.

So anyone have an update on this issue> Its been 2 months. Both FH4 and FOrza 7 do not run anymore.

Just got the same issue today. Game is unplayable as is there is no means to bypass the error message on the title screen and actually start the game.

Never played a Forza game before and bought this on a whim. Now I know to NEVER buy another game from Microsoft or Turn 10 again no matter how deeply discounted!

I got this a few days ago on my PC version. I emailed the support and got the response, “Sorry, this is a legacy game and is no longer supported.”

I tried everything to repair it on my own. I gave in and started a new save and lost all my progress. It’s the only way to get past the splash screen, unfortunately. This is a pretty big issue to never fix. I’m really disappointed by the lack of support of their flagship racing game.
