Forza Horizon 4 displays this error when I try and launch on windows 10. Fully updated drivers and windows. I have been playing this game and Forza 7 for years. Just now both games do not start. The launch window displays for a second and then closes. Forza 7 gives no errors. Forza Horizon 4 displays can't open the app, check the windows store for more info .

Ive been playing Cyberpunk since it launched and Forza 7 and FH4 both worked fine before. I see there was a windows update which I applied and still did not fix the issue. I reinstalled Forza 7 with no the same issue still.

I see in my even viewer there are a lot errors pertaining to these games when I try and launch.

I did not do anything to my computer in regards to changing setting. I just updated my video drivers for cyberpunk. Ive played these games for years on this PC with no issue. Please help.

Link you point at talks about a Windows Store reset. Since that doesn't look to have helped you, I would suggest you go to the Store App and explicitly Sign Out, do a reboot and then log back into the Store App to see if that helps. This should be the same effect as doing the app reset but who really knows :-)

Independent of that your Windows version looks wrong - what you show looks like a blend of 20H2 and 20H1 - I'm on version of 20H2 with the Dec 2020 Cumulative Update and my build number shows as 19042.685.

Are you absolutely sure the 8-Dec-20 updates were fully applied - I suggest you do a full shutdown of Windows 10 (using the Power Icon from the Start menu), followed by a full reboot. If that doesn't fix things, try removing the latest Windows Update you have applied - KB4592438 is what shows as my 8-Dec-20 update that was applied.

If that doesn't improve anyhting, try removing Forza 7 and reinstalling; you won't lose any Forza progress as that would all have been saved to the Cloud and will get resynced when you start Forza again.

I uninstalled the mainupdate and 2 security updates dated in December and still did not launch.

I have many error in windows log. Forza support have done nothing but saying they are looking into it. Every program on my PC works with out an issue including Cyberpunk. These two games do not. This is so annoying. FORZA TEAM PLEASE HELP you game worked for years on my PC. Here are two examples of errors. There are many tho.
