The showcase remix was miserable. The camera was so low behind the car (yes I use chase cam) that I could barely see the track.

How is the trial A class Extreme Offroad again?? Am I right I thinking that’s been the case at least three times in the last 10 or so weeks and cross country two weeks in a row?

And likely for a lot of people 2 trials in a row with the same vehicle (the Trailcat).

I knew last week by the name + reward it was going to be CC again but more fool me for hoping we'd at least get Offroad or SU Heroes, thought there was no way they would go for an A800 Extreme Offroad event yet again.

The drivatars of the Hoonigans on Blizzard Mountain have clearly decided to ignore those pesky laws of physics for this one. Same car as me, massively out-braking me in the snow on every corner, clinging to dry racing lines like they're on grippy slicks on a hot summer's day.

I was wondering why the hell I won an extra Ferrari 512.........so wait you no longer have to WIN the playground games, just participate in them? Does everyone join up and then just quit? :P I think one of the more interesting cars was the AMG 4 door MB from last week or the week before, along with that McClaren 12C.........

Interesting trial ... you know you're in for a good time, when you're first and rest of the team is keeping back door safe ... very safe.
So 2 runs ... first 1:2 for drivatars and 2x 1st and 4th (force is strong in those drivatars, I was nowhere near one, but got moved into another part of the track and ofc missing a checkpoint.
Second run was much better we won 3:0 and again 2x 1st and 3rd for me (hitting a bit of guardrail, which in turn stops you dead, doesn't help in placing at the top. But we did it anyway.
Offroad extreme A 800 TopGear Track-Tor, tune - 108 868 608 (tune was refined, in hope to get some more front end grip)
Alternative from last week:
Jeep Wrangler DD, tune - 756 246 482
Jeep Trailcat, tune - 877 210 367
or my favorite Ford F-150 Prerunner DD (I just love this truck) with new tune - 795 974 100

So another week that's in search of finding drivatars without strong force in them ... :)
First lets try S2 998 High rollers ... on snow (so all were fitted with snow/rally tires), I did try few and Lambo Centenario just doesn't turn, MB CLK GRT is seriously unstable, ...
Luckily few did well for me and was alsol funny watching those heavy, no grip Bugatties doing a triple sync slides :)
S2 998 Lambo Veneno, tune - 181 383 563
alternative Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion, tune - 601 263 044

Moving to track toys on ... you guessed it, on snow
S1 900 Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR, tune - 154 828 994
alternative BAC Mono, tune - 116 152 735

and let's finish with Hoonigans doing some offroading ... on snow :P
S1 900 Hoonigan RS200, tune - 545 011 302
alternative Hoonigan Escort RS1800, tune - 151 786 541

Forzathon car MB 190E 2.5-16 Evo 2, A 800 tune - 677 410 382, went to Astmoor speed trap, to collect 3 stars, while there, did few laps on Astmoor track for clean racing skills and then just took my time driving around.

PR stunts ... Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 used for danger sign and speed trap and McLaren Senna, tune - 176 256 116 for speed zone.

Again to finish it all, a lil pic

As always I hope all this can be of any help to somebody, take care everyone and have fun, bb.

Oh look, another Extreme Offroad A class event. We haven't had one of those in a while. /s

Seriously, how about you try making events with all the other classes and types in the game rather then this one, it's getting old now.

I know right. Maybe next series they might do a majority road, we will have to wait and see i suppose.

This Trial i didn't mind apart from the fact it is CC again. The tracks are ones i find quite enjoyable to race.

Tuned the Jeep Trailcat and won most races quite comfortably against star 4 to 8 players. Very happy with that.

I actually think they use some sort of program algorithm to pick the playlist event type, class, tracks etc - which is maybe looked over by someone for QA before release (although not so sure on the QA system some weeks, limiting players without any exclusives to a choice of one or two for events is just bad, bad for promotion, bad for the player). I also think this program is weighted towards certain classes and tracks...but I do not know why it is weighted the way it seems to be beyond "expensive" classes seem less common presumably because they are expensive.

I will note that (not at all now, or not noticeable) in the past we have had playlist events that did seem hand-picked, with clear themes.

Personally lately the spread seems really odd, last few weeks of C and D, now mostly S1 - so the future few weeks is maybe the same? I really like D and C class, but even I felt it was too much lately, I feel for those that don't like it at all - really there is enough events to do something to 'please' everyone to some degree and not max out on one type each week.

Hi all,

Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks seasonal for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, unless otherwise noted, all shared by myself (or others). ~ tune name / share code. If you use anything offered here, and you like it/it was useful to you, please don't forget to leave a like.

Online:
**Trial: "Tobogganing" | Cross Country | (A800) Extreme Offroad
**Car used: 1993 Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck (Autoshow 500,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 CC Offroad / 637 166 137

A.I. seem easy, especially considering cross country, I did not try this trail in a offline/solo mode. Painless, easy enough trial, suffered some force-field issues, and teammate issues, yet this weeks trial was among the smoothest I have had in recent weeks. Using a previous trial/solo event tune, so far tune has served me well, so not reinventing the wheel just yet. Tune is AWD, with 6.2L V8 engine swap.

**Seasonal Playground Games | Mudkickers' | (A800) Offroad
**Car used: 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor (Autoshow 63,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 CC Offroad / 138 009 364

Again this is an older tune, but I know it preforms well at this location for games. As the event is now win win, win or lose, tune choice is maybe no longer too important - provided losing is okay. Car/tune is seemly equivalent in speed to other cars/tunes I faced, has grip, more than some choices, same same vs others, tends to have a wide turn circle making catching the smaller offroad offerings sometimes challenging - very stable considering arena, hard to roll over. Tune is engine swapped for 5.8L V8, twin turbo, offroad tires.

PR Stunts:
- Bridlewood Speed Zone, 2018 McLaren Senna - 'New S2 Road Race' (111 960 179) by Don Joewon Song,
- Astmoor Speed Trap, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - 'PR Stunt Rally' (120 633 544),
- Mudkickers' Showjump Danger Sign, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - 'PR Stunt Rally' (120 633 544).

Have fun.

I don't think they use a real algorithm... there are different ways to randomize things. They use some pre-defined seasonal events, and then randomize those. In FH5 it would be better to use real randomization as in everything is randomized, and not pre-defined, and then randomized.

You need to finish the Playground Games, but you no longer need to win just play until the game finishes and you will get the reward, so you can't join and then quit as that wont count. Baffles me that people still are quitting after the 1st match if their team loses, or if the 1st round is going bad quitting before the end of the round. Haven't people seen the reward at the end that will say place 2nd in the championship. Yesterday I was alone against a team of 6, because everyone quit and these players quitting were 2 or 3 * so not exactly newbie players.

I had an A class tune on the Mercedes 190E from some previous event. I'm not sure what. It had street tiers and race suspension, which usually means an ordinary class restricted road tune. But it was completely undrivable. Always spinning out, way too much wheelspin, refused to go in a straight line until I got into 3rd or 4th gear. What was I thinking? Did I tune it for drift? There's no drift suspension, and the diff isn't locked, so it couldn't be that. Unless I unlocked the diff to try and make it drivable. It didn't work. I had 3 saved tunes, 2 in A class, one of them just said "test", and they had the same upgrades. And two tunes in Forza 7 that I don't think I imported, unless I overwrote them.

Anyway, I didn't bother adjusting the tune at all, but I managed to get through all the weeklies. They were pretty easy, even with this creepy pasta tune. if I take it out again, I think I'll just blow it away and start from scratch.

I'm pretty sure I didn't share the tune, but if I did, don't bother downloading it. Or maybe do, if you want to try and figure out what I was thinking.

Well good for you. So did I after a change of car and a tune. But there was definitely some dubiously realistic modeling of certain cars in those conditions, even more so than usual.

I did this today, one other person and I knew to stick around on the losing side and take the beating we did :) This should have been implemented from the beginning...keeps it engaging and you'll play the game rather than just drive in circles for 5 minutes so, honestly, I think its a big improvement. The Glory-Hounds may be upset that its no fun if its a participation trophy but this game isn't a competition. These games are all the electronic equal of playing KickBall...you do it for the doing, not the glory...everyone gets sodas after the game, this isn't eSports...

As we get closer to endgame for this title it's nice to see them making the cars a little easier to achieve.....although why we are getting those extra sets of free cars is confusing, is there some significance as to why I'm winning those cars from, what was it, series/season 16? (The Ferrari TR, I think I just won another Aventador but it's not the not-in-the-autoshow SV Lambo...I looked quick).

The Hoonigan cars are very good in the mud anyway. My turning was better than the Ai turning.
