Hi all,
Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks seasonal for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, unless otherwise noted, all shared by myself (or others). ~ tune name / share code. If you use anything offered here, and you like it/it was useful to you, please don't forget to leave a like.
Online:**Trial: "Snowed Out" | Cross Country | (A800) Extreme Offroad
**Car used: 1993 Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck (Autoshow 500,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 CC Offroad / 637 166 137
Did not check the A.I. offline this week for these events, as same tracks we have had before, with extreme offroad, and in a trial, although maybe not as extreme offroad, don't recall. A.I. online were less competitive than I would have expected for a cross country event, at least for my experience this go around. Using the same tune as for previous extreme offroad events in recent weeks, originally was planning to run a Warthog, yet decided to give the Toyota a shot first, things went well, so did not make anything for the Warthog this time. Tune/car is more than capable, easily faster than the A.I. I experienced, while some times unforgiving of mistakes (swings wide in corners, something to keep in mind) as per
IngoingCake8592 in general assessment of the Toyota T100. Tune is AWD, engine swapped for the 6.2L V8.
**Seasonal Playground Games | Mortimer Gardens | (C600) Offroad
**Car used: 1972 Land Rover Series iii (Autoshow 20,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Offroad SC / 156 856 170
Quick, sprightly and grippy offering for the games events. From what I could see, it lacks the topend of other choices, however they will not be able to make the quick surprise turns of the Land Rover. Seems most of the players this I faced this week do not know of the current win/lose win situation of the games, other team began quitting as soon as they lost the first event, with only two (opposing) staying till the end. Tune is upgraded original engine with supercharger, no aero, body modifications - mudflaps, tire on hood/bonnet, front bar.
PR Stunts: - Ambleside Approach Speed Zone, 2018 McLaren Senna - using a tune no longer offered ('So Much Grip') by Don Joewon Song, I do not know how the newer tune for the Senna by DJS compares - listing here for reference and due credit,
- The Roman Mile Speed Trap, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - 'PR Stunt Rally' (120 633 544),
- Broadway Windmill Danger Sign, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - 'PR Stunt Rally' (120 633 544).
Solo championships - Raced against Expert, Steering: Simulation, ABS: on, Traction/Stability; Off, Gearbox: Auto.
**Championship: "If You Wanna Be My Lambo" | Road Racing | (S1 900) Lamborghini models
**Car used: 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV (Autoshow 220,000 Cr)
**Tune: S900 RWD Road / 241 087 162
**Car used: 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante (HTF)
**Tune: no tuneThe RWD Countach was used for two of the three events, with the Huracan Performante used at Ambleside.
The Countach performances well on the sprint event, and less well on the circuit, I could not get any sort of decent placing at Ambleside (as others have said, it is not a S1 track) after many attempts, hence the switch. For the Countach, do not be put off by it been RWD, it is very balanced and stable, easy (considering it is S1) to manage, with a good amount of grip - the only major con. is, if you lose the tail it is very difficult to bring it back, plus a small amount of fishtailing (if kicked off) will quickly throw you off the track. Tune is RWD, twin turbo, with Forza air.
**Championship: "10 Downing Street Scene” | Street Scene | (S1 900) Country: UK models
**Car used: 1964 Austin FX4 Taxi (HTF)
**Tune: S900 Road / 976 734 188
Taking the oddball of the mix for the UK based event, the Taxi. This car/tune has great acceleration, is quick off the line, and very fast (for what it is) - although not as fast as some of the other choices in the event, so getting in front quickly before the A.I. has a chance to run away is key to winning. As usual, apart from traffic in general, the "Monument Wynds" track is the difficult one of the three, my tune has grip, and acceleration, however it is ungainly, refuses to slow (best brakes, huge tires, won't stop?), and throws wide in corners - otherwise, I think it is a fun tune, fun drive (once you adjust), sounds great (to me). Tune is race tires, widebody, which also means chopped roof (due to options), AWD, supercharged, swapped for 6.2L V8, full rollcage, full Forza air.
**Championship: "Chevy to the Levee" | Road Racing | (B700) Chevrolet models
**Car used: 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SuperSport 454 (Autoshow 80,000 Cr)
**Tune: B700 Road Racing / 171 602 478 by "Waznewz"
Could not get any inspiration for what to use for this event, so decided to use a tune by Waznewz, 'B700 Road Racing' for the '70 Chevelle. More than capable, very nice balance, very easy to handle, great drive - although a bit slow on launch (feels slow, yet will catch quickly) - very much recommend. I do know the tune is street tires, AWD with rear Forza air, it also has the supercharger hood/bonnet option, although the tune is not supercharged itself.
Enjoy.
