GG WP, I can tell when something is off when a car with 5.3 handling is turning like it has 5.6 handling, and even worse I use a speed car with far more accel and top speed and still getting smoked on the straights.

I've actually tried similar tunes and they work nothing like what I saw and I'm hardly a slow racer either. If you use the Alpha SS you will see my name at the top of many public LBs (not rivals) so you can immediately tell I'm not that slow. I can get that some guys are faster but there is a difference between "racing better" and straight up hacks. I might actually record a few replays if I see the dude again so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. Dudes name even says he was banned before lmao! Just race in class B hoppers and you'll find him.

This is honestly a first for me. I've seen guys who are just legitimately faster than me and I can buy that, but I'm definitely not slow enough to look like I'm standing still and I'm good enough to judge the difference between cars. His car said 8.1 maybe 8.2 accel, it behaved like 8.5/8.6 and the dudes car was handling far better than a speed tune ever should.

I've seen this with a couple of other players as well and it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was indeed hacks but I'll at least give them the benefit of the doubt. This guy, however, was definitely straight up hacking unless the cars stats were lying by that much. Also was a self built tune so you can't use it yourself just to see if it is a hack or not.

Edit: Also I don't just call people hackers/cheaters for no reason. I'm a good player in multiple games and play at the top of a lot of communities. There is a difference between being good and doing the impossible. This is the first time I've actually seen and am more than willing to call someone a cheater in this game though there may have been a few other instances that made no sense as well. It takes a lot of time and practice to get good and IMO being called a cheater because you are so good is honestly a compliment once you get good enough so it's really not even an insult anymore. But this dude was straight up cheating and I poked around to see that there are people bypassing the Pi system which makes perfect sense for some of the **** I've seen.

I doubt the person you are talking about was actually hacking.

The stats given to cars in the Forza games ( at least for 6 and 7 in my experience) are very inaccurate. You can see the stats for another player's car and think it will do poorly, but get into the actual race and it will fly past you. I have tuned cars that are statistically weaker than others and have had quicker laps times by 3+ seconds by the end of the race and also seen cars fly past my statistically superior cars.

As someone that has played every Forza game since FM2, Those stats are mostly meaningless and not necessarily accurate. So much so that I don't even bother looking at them any more. Part upgrades are the only thing that effect them. The tuning of suspension, gearing, diff, and brakes has can have a huge effect on the car's performance and it not factored in for the basic stat bars.
They probably just have a more optimized tune settings to overcome the lower base stats.

Dude I have a pretty damn good judgement of what the LB cars and what they should be doing. This car was legitimately turning as hard as my elise on lime rock and blowing it away on the straights. That's simply not possible since I wasn't making many if any mistakes at all. My handling was 5.8, the camero 02 is a heavy af car and he had 5.3 handling. It was literally impossible for him to do what he did. Then we went on daytona which I quit out of immediately because of how blantantly obvious the cheat was. This dude was pulling away from my Miata build for acceleration and top speed. I completely outclassed his car in terms of accel and speed at the price of handling. This dude was STILL pulling on me on the straight with a maximum accel of 8.2 and 6.5. The entire car was a lie, the stats didn't even remotely match his output.

Like I said, I have top LB times all over the place now, I'm not slow and I can tell how fast a car should be going. Some of these cheaters are blatantly obvious. If you think they are playing "fairly" try setting up a similar tune and see if you can even pull off the same times and sectors that they are. Don't be surprised when it turns out they are actually cheating and it's not the stats lying.

I know what lying stats look like, hence, you don't upgrade your transmission so the top end looks low and sometimes the accel might as well. That makes sense. This car had 6.5 top speed in class B, that means this restriction was not in place on his camero and his handling also did not match what it said it was. This is physically impossible for such a heavy car to behave like it has 5.3 handling. I've also seen dudes using the 65 mustang who were likely cheating as well. 4.7 handling keeping up with cars with far more handling and having more accel and top speed than should be allowed which you can test yourself by making your own tune.

I'm not a noob and I have a good idea of what should be possible and what isn't, what I saw was impossible, I even tested it myself. Go look up the PL hacks people have been using. Cheaters exist in this game and apparently they aren't being banned.

Edit: To make this extremely clear, my eyes are more than good enough to see the difference between someone racing better than me, having better braking/acceleration points, having a better fine tuned suspension, etc. I can see that stuff with my own eyes. That is perfectly normal. What is NOT normal is someone who is apparently above the laws of physics and having cars that are completely breaking them. Try out some of the class B rivals LB and you will see exactly what I'm talking about. Some of them are legit. Some of them are not. You should have a good judge on just how much faster you can go with the car they are using, at least I can do this and I can tell myself. One dude used the lancia delta and made an absurd time while we were racing. That time was so absurd it was more than 3 seconds faster than my alfa romeo, mind you, I set many top times on the alfa romeo public LB lobbies for class B. That's not possible to go 3 seconds faster there, faster than literally one of the best cars in the class. If I were messing around and using a mazda I could see that, but when I'm using one of the top cars for the class, busting out top times in it and still losing by 3+ seconds a lap? Yea, I smell something and it smell like some bull. There is a difference between being a faster and better driver and having a car using a cheating rating.

speaking specifically about the 02 camaro in B class, that car is 1 of the most extreme op cars in B class, so im not surpised by what youre saying, also the 02 camaro is very easy to drive because its stable, easy to control.
tune one yourself and you will see what i mean.

In a recent any B class ghost league many used that Camaro '02 including myself. It will blow away a Mazda on a speed track like Daytona. You can get away with very little handling on those infield tracks, Camaro '02 is a speed monster and I would agree pretty easy to drive for something that fast. That Alfa 33 is not as OP as it was in Forza 6.

I stick more with Forza 6 nowadays, forza 7's got really dull for me, but the same thing regarding stats is still present in Forza 6. For some example .... I was in my Merc. AMG GT is A class at a Prague short short course. My stats for that car were Speed: 7.2 Handling: 5.5 Accel: 8.5 Brake: 5.5, it weighs 3,450 IBS and got 1st place with some considerable space behind to 2nd place. This is a car not suited for this track and yet I was able to keep pace with Mono's and Caterhams in turns and eventually beat them.

I've seen the one video of a guy calling out cheaters that you have posted in another topic ... but I must be missing something. That guy doesn't prove anything he just claims that people are cheating then tells how they allegedly cheat, but then nothing. He didn't prove anything to be honest.

"To make this extremely clear" ... "Try out some of the class B rivals LB and you will see exactly what I'm talking about"

Well .... I've tried making it clear for you that stats are misguiding in the Forza motorsports games and you still talk about the stats of these other cars as if they re 100% accurate.

Guess the only way I can make this "extremely clear" for you is to do what you recommend.

Give me a B-class rivals track, your personal best time and the time of the driver you think is cheating. I'd even try it in one of your tunes if you like.

I don't think ita hack at all. The 02 camaro is fast. And the 65 mustang with 4.7 handling i belive has like 8.5 acceleration which is insane however the driver has to be skilled enough to pull it off..

As far as p.i. goes it is generally accurate.. I say 8 out of 10 times it is a good indicator of a cars performance however in order to really see why certain cars are fast or op you have to know what the pounds/HP is and compare it to handling.

Take the civic type r B class. It has 8.373 lb/hp with 6.0 handling and 6.0 speed And i believe 6.0 braking.
Ive spent a great deal of time trying to find and alternative fwd car that can match that lb/hp but when i do almost all other fwd cars end up with 5.2 handling a few close to 5.5 at best.. If i tried to match the 8.373 lb/hp with 6.0 handling in any other fwd car i end up well into A class.

Now if i strickly tried to match the civic p.i. stats there are a few that come close but have far far worst lb/hp. Which results in the civic passing me like im standing still in the straights despite the p.i. stats looking similar.

But as someone who played fm1,2,3,4 i can say this fm7 is by far the most balanced forza i have played with plenty of alternative cars to take on the LB cars. I remember in fm1 a D class crx in the right hands could beat a B class car that wasn't a B class crx or elise. Lol.

The other day i had a similar experience to your story. I was in a car with 5.8 handling (astra) and this other guy was in a superbee. He had 5.0? handling 8.6? acceleration and he pulled so hard on me in the turns that i was actually slowing him down. Lol.. In the straight he left me like my car was turned off.. Then i looked at who was driving and i was like oh that guy..and it all made sense. 😁 prob one of the fastest players to ever play forza.. I remember his name because i used to want to be as fast as him back in fm2.. But i was no match then and deff not now. Even tho i can usually post top 100 lap times in rivals without a leaderboard car. Some ppl are just on a different level.

Exactly the same with me.

In terms of outright pace, I'd be extremely extremely more I could get inthetop 1% on every leaderboard given enough time and practice.

Howeverwhenholly start getting into the 0.5% and less, those guys are simply incredible at what they do. Sons peopleare indeed on that other level and I'd would take extreme amounts of time, dedication, practise and refinement to match them.

I don't think I've seen any hackers in a lobby, some really good players though. The leaderboards on the other hand, there are some hackers in there. Getting a 90mph boost in less than a second and running 5+ seconds a lap faster than 2nd place is a little fishy.

Acceleration only takes into account a cars launch off the line. My 8.4 Accel Audi touring car in S class can keep up with a F50 on a straight. I have a 9.0 Accel 05 NSX in S that destroys a GT40 on a straight. That's just 2 examples. Top speed means absolutely nothing at all. I have a car with about 5.4 speed that does 270mph.

Before you take into account the stats Forza gives, you have to take into account how good the tune is but the most important thing is driver skill.

There's a lot more to it in corners, how they trail braked in and the teqnique used to downshift, when they released the throttle to get the car to turn in, when they get on the throttle, the line they took. So many variables.

Sounds to me like you just got schooled from a top quality driver and fail to understand how the stats work.

A couple of things bother me about this post.

1. Check that you have a good internet connection that is straight to a router via ethernet or wifi not through a powered switch or wifi extender etc I had this problem myself which is why I mention it

2. The servers. You could just have a bad connection in general

3. The player you refer to is using a wheel setup and by the sounds of it TC at the very least. It makes a big difference

4. I currently hold a record for 1st in asia pacific in P class rivals around Spa in the rain. I got that with a controller. Overall im 25th in the world but working on it

5. Maybe you need a new controller, ethernet cable or wifi router etc etc theres many factors that can affect food old multiplayer

6. They are better than you. With the controller I can hold my own against anyone but this has come from years and years of practice and muscle memory. Now I have a my fancy fanatec setup it’s like starting all over from scratch

Please don’t take anything I have said as an insult because I hear what you are saying and I thought the same thing but then I realised how over complicated my network throughout my house was. I took the time to eliminate a couple things and I swear when I got back on forza multiplayer leagues I won my first ever multiplayer race.EVER. I’ve been playing a long time too

Other than that who knows you could be right but I am coming from the angle of playing FM7 on the console and PC and to be honest I haven’t seen anything that I would put down to hacks but like I said you could be right.

Hopefully you figure it out

There are a couple of things you could try, the first is something that will take a couple of seconds to complete. If you connect your controller to you xbox using a USB cable, check the firmware is upto date for that controller. The other is race one of your existing ghosts with the controller connected to the xbox using the cable
