I knew you wanted one of HLR Moss's paint jobs REALLY bad.....thought you'd be slacking at the track lately! Good luck @ Sebring!

Just put together a Porsche Carrera build and took it out to FreePlay for some tuning, and, OMG this thing needs to be TAMED....😬🤯🤕.......NOT sure any Puerto Rican tuning potion will help this car. Yet, I absolutely LOVE the sound of the engine. So, I have to at least enjoy that for the moment.

Unfortunately I've had to pack the racing seat and wheel away for a while as I need the room for homeworking - three of us trying to wfh isn't great! Although I've not really been participating I have been trying to get a bit of much-needed practice in. So for now it's back to the controller, but I'll still be languishing down the bottom half with you guys! Hope everyone's keeping safe and well while the world goes crazy...

I’ll be the first to admit I’m gonna struggle this week as Sebring is the hardest track in the game for me coupled with these beasts..... 😆

Anyway..... BM of 2:06:598 in the Maserati 😎

Think I'm gonna take a pass this week. Started building a Ford GT and just kept adding parts and adding parts and adding parts. Still only made it to mid-S class before all I had left was MOAR POWER! and wider tires. Don't think there's any conceivable way for me to get it to R900 and still keep it within the bounds of what I consider enjoyable to drive.

Made a hard run with xAlea Jack Est tune and got down to 2:00.3 yesterday but could not be consistent. My capabilities are limited with these speed freaks. Spent a good bit of time trying to tame the beast to better fit me. New tune got me down to 1:58.798 with a bit more consistency. Shared as HLR HLC V1.0. I have seen splits that could get me into the 1:58s if I could just put them all together. Hope it helps someone else also.

So as my playing-hooky-this-week project I'm revisiting the "Un-Turbo" 930 I built to A700 a few weeks back. Dropped it down to B600 (and, big surprise, squared up the tires) and I'm a lot happier with how it drives. Still slow as dogsnot, but that don't confront me much. Won't go into exhaustive details since it's not really relevant to the thread, but figured I'd at least retro-tangentially participate.

Keep the rubber side down, guys. Might take a stab at Sebring in the 930 just for gits and shiggles.

Wow! The antenna on the Saleen dances around like a hyperactive cat 🐈...... but sadly, that doesn’t result in faster lap times. Just an observation.... 🧐

Official time... Sebring.... HLR BURNINASPHALT..... Saleen S7..... 2:02:440 😎

Sebring at R class was always going to be tough, and so it transpired! The track still gives me nightmares remembering the effort I had to put into an old Bounty event, LOL.

The Saleen proved the fastest car in the division by some way, and all but one of our drivers set times with it.

Rich and xAlea once again showed us how to do it, both running times in the 1:53s. Rich won, from xAlea, with minsons winning the very close race for the final podium spot against Bubba, and PRKid.

JParrott unsurprisingly ran away with the tier 2 prize, after his standing start run at Bugatti got him demoted LOL. Wan Ge 1 was also a comfortable winner in tier 3.

Only 23 drivers this week, but welcome back xAlea Jacta Est, FastBud, and HET9Zombie7, and congratulations to all our winners.

Here is a snapshot of the final standings:

Our winners:

Tier 1: WIL Rich 92 wins a paint for his 2004 Saleen S7.

Tier 2: JParrott 46 wins a paint for his 2004 Saleen S7.

Tier 3: Wan Ge 1 wins a paint for his 2004 Saleen S7.

Tuners Prize: xAlea Jacta Est wins a paint for his 2004 Saleen S7 that Rich ran.

To claim your paints, message HLR Moss to arrange it's sharing whilst you are waiting in the car to download. We don't want anyone else to grab them. They are each personalised for the winner and hopefully will provide you with a memory of the event.

For our next challenge we are slowing things down, but on a very tricky track at Dubai in some vintage sports cars. Good luck!

Nice run, Wan Ge. No matter what I tried you just kept pulling away and when I did manage to keep you in sight, that annoying marker kept popping up highlighting DIRTY lap.

Won't be making that mistake again anytime soon!

Glad to get Sebring out of the way if i'm honest, don't think i hate any track as much as that one!

Already had a good little run at this one earlier, while speaking with Rich, believe this is actually the first time i've done a TT around Dubai and it's safe to say that for a good 20 minutes of lapping i had absolutly no idea on where i was going as i think i could count the amount of times i've raced around here on 1 hand! Ended up using the Cosmo straight away as i thought this had a high chance of getting number one on the leaderboards, and it didn't take long for Rich to prove us right.

Will probably give it another run in the coming days and stream it over on Twitch/jparrott46 if anyone is wanting any guidance..
