Trial was was classic racers. 2 sprints and a circuit. Stupid games on the other hand, we just won and the game froze. Now I have to waste time for no reason. Too many loading screens. thanks.

Playground games were a blast; tore the other team apart (but they gave a full-throated fight). Can't wait to do it again with clubmates. Toyota 2000GT '69 is a beauty. 👍🏼

Man, these seasonals are really bad...

A800 CC Buggies yet again, this time in the snow which mandates AWD. Classic Rally C600 is ok, but not in Winter! B700 Trucks will depend on the track but generally speaking neither the Unimog nor the MB Racing Truck are good drives. Trial requires extensive modification yet again, in cars with bad grip, and S1 Rally Monsters in Winter PGG must be an absolute torment to play.

Yet another unfun month just for another car. :(

Just two things, the Toyota GT is achingly beautiful,
the MC Laren Speedtail is one of the top five Uglies in the game...

sad I had to tune my Mitsubishi to achieve the Derwent speed zone in the Forzathon

Quick tip: if you're having problems with the speedzone for the forzathone, use the Renault 5 Turbo. I found it easiest with that one

Dumb question, but what percentage do the seasonal events count for in terms of overall festival playlist completion? I'm at 43% for the overall playlist (finished everything last week, but didn't the week before and haven't done the online adventure) and wanted to know if I could get the 600 LT this week.

Easy trial this time 2nd, 2x 1st, 3 wins for players team.
Used Shelby Daytona Coupe '65, fitted with winter tires and set for grip, tune 128 183 812
For B 700 truck I used MB Unimog , tune 176 955 496, alternative would be MB Tankpool tuned 133 409 255 , but considering its winter cross country, I wouldn't recommend it.
C 600 classic rally I used Mr., Bean's go kart Mini Cooper S '65, tune 226 885 593
Honor for being offroad buggy A 800 again pointed to Ariel Nomad and ist actually nice to drive, if you spend some time tinkering around it, tune 993 144 094

For weekly forzathons car I picked Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI '99 just some parts put together, tune 135 065 391
I run Mudkickers 4x4 scramble on new racer difficulty, to get airborne pass skills. then went Horizon solo and "drifted" on streets of Edinburgh, to get lucky escape skills and finally run the speed zone.

PR Stunts again done with offroad tuned Agera RS and DJS S2 tuned Hoonigan RS200

The series events - Story, Rivals, and Online Qualifiying - apply in full to the series completion, while the seasonal percentages add 1/4th their value to the series total.

Ah the CC A800 AI speed hacks buggies. That event and any races on that Ambleside village circuit are overused and should be given a rest for a while. 😀

I think they have made a mistake, there was a lot of designs which were uploaded prior to the car being released, instead of banning those who did unlock the car prior to release, they have unfortunately banned those of us which created our liveries around the 3pm mark.

I've raised a ticket about this, if you have nothing to worry about then I'd suggest you also open one and allow them to look at your save game data.

Here's hoping those us of mistakenly banned are sorted out quickly.

Only couple things to say about this week..

1. Championships and PR's were silly easy but the prizes were poor

2. Toyota 2000GT is stunning and it's great to see my Dream Car back in the franchise, though PG have a made a slight mistake, as they've added Bellatrix Yellow, the 1969 version didn't have Bellatrix Yellow as colour option, only the '67,68 & 70 had Bellatrix Yellow as an option.

3. Something needs to be done about Players who use the Trainer in game, Did a PPG with friends from a FB group and the other team were disappearing at the flag and reappearing and the score zone with out moving during flag rush and jumping crazy high, they also were disappearing and reappearing in a different location during infected.

Hi all,

Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks online events + PR stunts for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, unless otherwise noted, all shared by myself (or others). ~ tune name / share code.

**Trial: "Snow Returns" | Road Racing | (S1 900) Classic Racers
**Car used: 1966 Ford Lotus Cortina (Autoshow 50,000 Cr)
**Tune: S1 Classic Snow / 176 742 763

Easy to drive, not too tricky, predictable when it is been difficult. Will easily beat A.I. Performance online, as always, will depend on your ability, how the lag is at the time,, possible crazy A.I. behavior, and how your teammates behave - this last one was the issue for me. So this week had a team which included the usual non-tuned rentals, and can't be bothered tuning teammates, plus the 'me me me I must be first' gang - which included member's of clubs from well known youtube channels (not the owners - clubs that are associated with said channels) - terrible teammates. Anyway tune is AWD, engine swapped for 3.2L inline six, turbo, Forza air, with rally/snow tires.

**Seasonal Playground Games | Mudkickers' | (S1 900) Rally Monsters
**Car used: 1986 MG Metro 6R4 (Autoshow 125,000 Cr)
**Tune: S900 Games / 102 502 855

Based on the teams I played with/against, the ugly duckling choice for the event - didn't see any others. Good performance for the games location, stable, not too 'flippy', has grip and very good acceleration. Not much to say on the tune, there is not many options for upgrades - standard out of the box with rally/snow tires, rally suspension, tune-able aero and AWD.

PR Stunts:
-Coppice Speed Zone, 1978 Hoonigan Ford Escort RS1800 - 'S900 Rally Trial' (680 307 281),
-The Roman Mile Speed Trap, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - 'PR Stunt Rally' (120 633 544),
-Rail Yard Ramp Danger Sign, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - 'PR Stunt Rally' (120 633 544).
Railyard danger zone is a bit of a pain, landing zone for the required distance is right in front of a train carriage with buildings on either side - landing on the building roof-tops will fail the danger zone. I managed after a few attempts to clear the train carriage - started at the fence line, cleared all obstacles, rewind, make the run, hit the ramp as straight as possible.

Cheers.

Man it feels odd to play infected in playground games these days. :D

But irony aside, I think this week I had the best PG event so far since I've started playing FH4. No one rage quitted, everyone stayed till the bitter end and we won by an eyelash. 3 - 2.

Trial was easy. My suggestion, if you have it, grab the Ferrari P4 with the proper tune. It is so grippy and doesn't understeer. A charm to drive and a victory for sure.

Thanks a lot for all the tips and hints.... I wish I have read them before doing everyhting while banging my head against the wall.

This was the first trial (since ever I think) where I did not have a tuned car ready. I never checked before, so it was like iceskating with boots and soles made out of iron.

I disliked all the racing events, I hate buggies (I play without rewind and sometimes they bounce around like a jumping bean, ruining my run by missing a checkpoint), I like agile and fast cars, so trucks are a nightmare and last (BUT NOT LEAST, TRUST ME) the airpasses.

So for me personally this was one of the lamest seasons ever. I will grab a tune for a classic race car though and drive the trials a few times more.

Obviously expensive but the Alfa Romeo 33S is one of the very best S1 winter cars in the entire game. I use it in Ranked for any winter road races (assuming that there is actual snow on the ground). I can check what tune I have on it if it would help anyone but there should be plenty of good ones available. Against other Classic Racers, it should be totally dominant for any decent driver.

I like to do the Trial where I go into it totally blind, I just join a team from the playlist with no idea what the tracks or car options are. With it having snow in the name, I figured there would be snow. Of the cars it offered me, just one had snow tyres fitted, the Jaguar C Type, which was handily tuned to 900, and based on the wheels it had, I must have tuned it myself in the past, though I had no recollection of why I had tuned it to 900 with rally tyres. We only had 5 people, and 2 dropped out in race 1, which was a good start (and I'm not being sarcastic!). I won all 3 races, one of the other 2 was last in all 3 races, and the other team member just did enough for us to win by 50 points in 2 of the 3 races. Job done!

I agree with Jezza that the Alfa 33S will surely be OP. However, I had mine built/tuned with race tyres, I must have done that to try it for one of our rivals challenges. You'll definitely want snow tyres for this Trial as Lakehurst Forest Sprint in particular is much faster with a snow tyre build.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but Alfa Romeo 33S was worst in my case, lacks both grip and speed.
Ferrari P4 has loads of grip but maybe lacks a bit of speed.
Tested them all on Lakehurst Forest sprint and I can get very similar times in Daytona or P4, while 33S is few seconds behind.

What tune were you using for the 33S? Grandma Driving's "S1 Dirt" tune has done the fastest time of any car for multiple dirt tracks I've tested cars on. Having said that, it looks like I'm just assuming it would therefore also be good in snow, as I don't look to have noted a time for it for LFS snow. I'll give it a try along with the others you mentioned. It's a huge shame we can't do rivals in snow.

Edit: I haven't time trialled them against each other yet, but I just tried GD's tune for the Trial and I absolutely dominated, was miles ahead of any human or AI.

I use LazyData’s “Rally/Snow” tune. Lacks a bit of absolute top end speed but it’s near perfect for snow.

I think I must have decided I preferred that to Grandma Driving’s tune at some point but can’t recall what testing (if any) I did.

I don't use rewinds, but after playing for ages you don't miss the checkpoints. You learn to slide into the inside of the checkpoints.
