Hi all,
For those it may help, here are cars/tunes/suggestions for the two online seasonal events. All tunes are my own, all shared. (tune name / share code)
**Trial: "Top Marques" | Road Racing | (S1 900) Aston Martin vs Chevrolet
**Car used: 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air (Autoshow 130,000 Cr)
**Tune: S900 Road Trial / 142 063 528
If you feel like doing the trial in style, the Bel Air is for you. Easy driver, plenty fast enough to beat the A.I. Tune is AWD swap, 6.2 V8 swap, supercharged, forza air (needs it), 'stock' rims (unchanged from base model).
**Seasonal Playground Games | Mudkickers' 4x4 | (C600) Cult Cars
**Car used: 1966 Hillman Imp (Car pass, Autoshow 25,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Cult Games / 135 961 028
I think everything on offer in this weeks games is very even when upgraded, I looked at a few, none seemed to have an edge - not sure on Peel, as this I did not look at it, as felt would be bad news at Mudkickers' So, Hillman Imp, car pass car, AWD swap, turbo, Wide-body, rally tires/suspension, upgraded stock engine. Turns sharper, quicker and is more stable doing it than the cars I faced. Faster in acceleration than the 'rental' (Jaguar) - although at this location this doesn't always help. Car will flip, as short wheel base, does tend to right itself, watch double bumps, and the main straight with the jump, water, jump, water compo. C class, so avoid all obstacles to maintain speed. If you don't have the Imp, and although I did not try them, the Meyers Manx, 1959 Ford Anglia, or the 1973 AMC Gremlin all seem good on paper, similar in spec to the Imp once upgraded -top speed, acceleration.
Cheers,
