"PSA: Series 19 – Summer Weekly Challenge.
The final part of the challenge should be to Earn 20 Awesome Speed Skills in your Modern Supercar.
However, in every language other than En-US, it has the incorrect description of “Earn 3 stars at the M68 Speed Trap”."

I don't know if it's a translation failure necessarily, because I remember checking the previews last week, and seeing that same requirement. So they might have actually changed the requirements last minute, and then went live before the translators got the memo.

Loving this series and seasons rewards. LFA, 917, M3 GTS, ATS GT, Q1, GSX, and the SD1. Wonder what they have for next season since I can’t get to the Xbox right now.

Competitive players should go for Rossion this month. LF-A is expected to be competitive as well.

When there's a showcase remix, the percentages are straightforward. However this week there's no showcase so PG will change some of the 6% events to 7%.

I've not completed all events yet but I would expect it to be similar to the following:

Thursday 2:30pm (U.K.)
FORZATHON (WEEKLY): 15%
FORZATHON (DAILY)
Thu: 1%
Fri: 1%
Sat: 1%
Sun: 1%
Mon: 1%
Tue: 1%
Wed: 1%

PR Stunt 1: 7%
PR Stunt 2: 6%
PR Stunt 3: 7%

Championship 1: 7%
Championship 2: 6%
Championship 3: 7%

Showcase Remix n/a

The Trial: 7%
Playground Games: 7%

Monthly Rivals: 6%
Online Adventure Ranking: 18%

Total: 100%

betinhogvz usually provides a useful and accurate list of percentages and recommended cars, tunes and upgrades so this may appear in the next few days.

Yeah, I knew those percents were based upon having the Showcase, just wasn't sure which events go to 7%.

Fairly easy trial I thought. Last track is wet though. I recommend the Corvette Z06 2002 with GTz Marple’s “AWD S1 Rain” tune. It has rapid acceleration to get quickly to the front and handling is very smooth both in dry and wet conditions.

I am old enough to remember when they had these “special division” Rovers as cop cars here in the UK many moons ago. My dad had the civ 3.5l version of that car. Really fast but like all Rovers the build quality wasn’t great. The Audi’s, BMWs, Hondas and toyotas of that era trounced them for quality.

The cop version of the car was famous for doing something called the “liver run” which was taking a donor organ from an airport into a central London hospital in record time. 27 miles in under 30m.

Hi all,

For those it may help, here are cars/tunes/suggestions for the two online seasonal events. All tunes are my own, all shared. (tune name / share code)

**Trial: "Top Marques" | Road Racing | (S1 900) Aston Martin vs Chevrolet
**Car used: 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air (Autoshow 130,000 Cr)
**Tune: S900 Road Trial / 142 063 528

If you feel like doing the trial in style, the Bel Air is for you. Easy driver, plenty fast enough to beat the A.I. Tune is AWD swap, 6.2 V8 swap, supercharged, forza air (needs it), 'stock' rims (unchanged from base model).

**Seasonal Playground Games | Mudkickers' 4x4 | (C600) Cult Cars
**Car used: 1966 Hillman Imp (Car pass, Autoshow 25,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Cult Games / 135 961 028

I think everything on offer in this weeks games is very even when upgraded, I looked at a few, none seemed to have an edge - not sure on Peel, as this I did not look at it, as felt would be bad news at Mudkickers' So, Hillman Imp, car pass car, AWD swap, turbo, Wide-body, rally tires/suspension, upgraded stock engine. Turns sharper, quicker and is more stable doing it than the cars I faced. Faster in acceleration than the 'rental' (Jaguar) - although at this location this doesn't always help. Car will flip, as short wheel base, does tend to right itself, watch double bumps, and the main straight with the jump, water, jump, water compo. C class, so avoid all obstacles to maintain speed. If you don't have the Imp, and although I did not try them, the Meyers Manx, 1959 Ford Anglia, or the 1973 AMC Gremlin all seem good on paper, similar in spec to the Imp once upgraded -top speed, acceleration.

Cheers,

It's great piece of car history for those into that. Rover actually had great reputation to P5 model, which had some reputation even in mainland Europe, which is huge achievement considering that I don't even know if it was made with left hand drive. PG covered some of SD1 history in live stream, end of an era in sense that following model was based on Honda platform. SD1 was rare in mainland Europe so it's really great addition IMO.

Took it to Street Scene run and enjoyed it and its V8 quite a bit. It's Street Scene safe even on Unbeatable. I just wonder a bit about graphical model, it looks like it has discs in rear? Original design had drums. Did they really build them with discs in rear too?

In case anyone is interested, I'm not saying these are the best cars, as there are a lot of cars to choose from, and I have only tried these 3, but these 3 cars can all easily win every race in the Trial, and I also did multiple rivals runs for the first race with each one to compare them:

1st Camaro PO 1:56.1
2nd Corvette Z06 '15 1:56.3
3rd Vantage GT12 '16 1:57.1

I've shared all 3 tunes as "TopMarques Trial". The Camaro PO is a tricky one, as it seems to be a choice between race tyres RWD or rally tyres AWD, so I went for the latter. It gives it noticeably less grip than the other two, but it's fast if you adapt to the lower grip and drive it within its capability. The rally tyres are good for the 3rd wet race, of course.

Edit: also tried the AM Vanquish '12 later, it was similar with 1:56.5. For comparison, with the McLaren F1, I did 1:53.9, so every Chev and AM I've tried so far has been well off that pace.

The SD1 was not badly designed. Its successes in motorsport can attest to that. But it was still a British Leyland car built in the final years of the state-owned holding. Quality was hilariously bad for a car of that stature.

Not as bad as a Maserati Biturbo, though!
