yep, true. but that one time hitting it perfectly flat out at~240mph is a real rush.

there seems to be a nice smooth line through there if you get lucky enough. else you're into the sand or the inside kerb will pull you off too

Monza in these cars lived up to it's reputation as the temple of speed. Much too fast for me, but many of you clearly enjoyed it. The 2 Porsche #17s were dominant, with the extra 5mm of rear tyre giving the AG 962C the edge. Tuning the car to take turn 1 flat out proved tricky, and the Vanquish setup was very popular.

We ended the week with 30 drivers, a new WR, and 9 drivers in the top 20. Amazing! Welcome back RamenRoodles, who clearly enjoys running at high speed LOL. Thanks to all for joining in the fun.

THR Rich showed his class to claim the win, setting a new WR time in the process. The podium places went to xAlea Jacta Est, and minsons who both finished in the top 10. Congratulations to you all.

Here is a snapshot of the final standings:

Congratulations to our winners:

Tier 1 Winner: THR Rich wins a paint for his 1987 Porsche #17 AG 962C.

Tier 2 Winner: razzitGT wins a paint for his 1987 Porsche #17 AG 962C.

Tier 3 Winner: Wan Ge 1 wins a paint for his 1987 Porsche #17 AG 962C.

Tuners Prize: HLR PRKid wins a paint for his 1987 Porsche #17 AG 962C.

To claim your paints, message HLR Moss to arrange it's sharing whilst you are waiting in the car to download. We don't want anyone else to grab them. They are each personalised for the winner and hopefully will provide you with a memory of the event.

For our next challenge we are off to Spain to drive some track toys. We hope you enjoy the combination!

You can say that again. This week was pretty much a spec racing series. Only two weirdos ran anything else, and I never got beyond testing the stock car.

Not sure if I'll get much more time this week. I like Catalunya, but I doubt the cars I like from the division (the two street-spec Elises and the 2-Eleven) are going to make the transition to S800 with any sort of grace. Probably end up in a 2-Eleven, but I'll try the S1 Elise first.

Gonna call it quits on this one. Spent the better part of two sessions trying to do something useful with the aforementioned Lotuses and it just wasn't happening. S800 is way above what I feel their performance ceiling should be. Actually had better luck with the 190 than I did the 2-Eleven, but strapping 350 horsepower into a car with the weight and wheelbase of a rollerskate is still a terribad idea any way you look at it.

Will try and run a few more laps if i remember before it's finish, only had a quick 10 minute session so just went with the fastest time on the leaderboard, and just used that car/tune, plenty of time i can make up just from the first sector alone .
