Nevermind, apparently the 6 outlet exhaust on the 6x6 was a factory option.

I read about this on Wiki. At the moment it has the 4L engine in-game.

This thread doesn't give me hope for FM8. FM7 had issues and FH4 has issues, not to mention the numerous times I've run into visual glitches with Forzavista. So much that I've given up updating my thread.

2 separate QA teams and they both fail to deliver. As much as I dislike GT Short, rarely have I seen complaints in this department of wrong details/visual glitches. From the rare few times, they were immediately patched.

Perhaps Turn 10/PG needs to end outsourcing modeling to foreign teams.

Not exactly a visual detail, but as some other people have pointed out, the E39 M5 sounds too much like a Camaro (to quote the other people), and I don't disagree.

They don't have the typical US muscle car sound. But I noticed that the '93 Mustang (Foxbody) has a very similar sound to what the E39 M5 sounds like (IMO), which makes me wonder why they didn't use that instead of whatever they used.

(yes I know I'm contradicting myself with the "not typical US muscle" thing)

2018 ATS GT

Dashboard "Whiteout":

In fact all cars with screen-like dashboard in this game are differently susceptible... with the severest extent of the problem occurring on this model.

...When it can finally be clearly viewed, there are 3 obvious wrong details:

Speedometer off, boost gauge malfunctioning, AT mode dashboard... And likely more. (consult the manufacturer for details)

And suboptimal cockpit view camera position.

My nitpicks:

  • Doesn't have a centrifugal supercharger conversion. Everyone who's minimally into aftermarket knows that's the most popular forced induction option for this model of M3 (and also the 2008 one, which also lacks this upgrade)
  • Doesn't have the "sleeper" upgrades from FH1 anymore (parts from 335i I think)
  • Sound is obviously wrong

So I'm reading over at gtplanet that the 2010 BMW M3 GTS doesn't have the actual GTS interior? Can anyone confirm? If this is true, then I have to ask who the heck is responsible for modeling these cars and why do they continually get things wrong over and over? Are they in-house or outsourced?

Does Playground not reprimand anyone they employ? This is embarrassing. Hope Turn 10 doesn't use the same team for Forza 8.

And the camera position definitely needs adjustment.

This isn't a rare case... I have a long list of cars that have similar problems.

Some better method rather than having the developers check and fix them all one by one is definitely needed, like: per-vehicle based user configurable camera positions (which also tends to yield much more reliable/satisfying result, and more).
