I haven't been able to play Forza since about August 21st, so I missed out on everything in the winter season, not a whole lot to miss, but i'm still upset. When I start Forza, it sits their for awhile (The flash screen you get on pc) and then automatically closes for some reason. I have contacted Forza support and have not gotten much from them that I have already tried, I get their just doing their job but it doesn't seem like they really care. Now this season in forza, you can get the ID Zerouno, I absolutely love the way this car looks and I hear it handles like a dream, however, I can't play the game, so I can't get it. I am only hoping that I am able to get this car otherwise I may try to refund Forza Horizon 4, sell my pc and buy an Xbox, because turn 10 seems to only really give a [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] about Xbox players. I'm going to be absolutely livid if I can't get my issue fixed by Wednesday next week. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix my problem, feel welcome to put them down, I am willing to try almost anything.

Dont need to refund for Forza .
The licence you bought for PC can be used for X BOX ....

Tried to use the windows rollback to a previous date ? (many weeks ago can help)

Its not that they care about xbox players more, they don't care about people that have issues. They don't want to be bothered and have to actually put some work in to fix it. Look at the milage glitch people are having. They tell you to adjust your display settings instead of actually fixing it. If you were having problems on your xbox, they wouldn't care about you either. Its not the platform, its whether your having problems. They are lazy.

I'm having the same issue now... I managed to play some Winter season, then last week I got 2 blue screens on my PC (different, on critical something, one memory). I ran memtest and reseated my RAM. I did the long list of tasks on the official support page... Nothing. I found that if you use AVIRA antivirus it may cause problems so I thought this was a problem and it didn't uninstall correctly. Last night I spent many hours backing up then reinstalling my windows then a long time downloading the damn game again and it is not working today. There was a windows update released TODAY 30/8/19 that mentioned some games not running due to spatial sound??? So installed that, all up to date video driver etc... I only have forza and windows 10 installed and the splash screen just sits there a few minutes then disappears.

Honestly I am so frustrated and annoyed, since I am missing the new Season, and I had played this for a few months already with minimal issues... Now it doesn't work.... can I get a refund since I have not changed anything? Or what.... no accountability or integrity with this developer! I bought the ultimate edition too! Will not be buying any future title by this company if this isn't rectified.

For now I'm just cruising in GTA V. That game's never caused me issues nor the steam store..

I sympathise completely. Right now the game randomly CtD's for me when up until now it's been pretty good. No rhyme or reason. Only new thing is getting the latest nvidia driver. So I have no idea what's causing it and it's completely messing up my gaming. Oh well. I have other games to play but this leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

I get what you are saying, it has been a wild goose chase to find this black magic answer on the internet to fix my problem...

I tried to get the latest driver and it didn't fix my issue either, but i have better performance in other games at least.

You are 100% correct, my point was is im sick of the random weird issues that computers give.

I had a friend look over everything they couldn't figure anything out (they have more understanding of technical issues than I). I did a support ticket but it's weekend so don't expect a reply till next week. Send them the error log from event viewer. I will try to post it below if I'm allowed: Does it match what you get?

They don't have the infrastructure or staff apparently to get onto your PC's and help, That is how PC support is done these days. The only way they will solve it is on an individual basis. Correct me if I am wrong but has anyone had a staff member log onto their PC remotely? That's what is needed.

They can have the error logs... if they logged in they would need to download tools to debug it probably? And then if they corrupted your machine it would cause a big stink and data loss. I don't think any developer would log in remotely to a PC to fix. They can only go by error logs. Once during a support (on a different game) I was told to do something, I think open it in debug mode and copy the text to them. .. don't think you can do that on Forza since the WindowsApps folder is locked down.

This is _literally_ me right now. Ultimate Edition, did all the uninstall/reinstall-shenanigans, but to no avail. I had no trouble with the game before the 28th update, I think that update is the one to blame. Really disappointed right now, hope they release a fix soon...

Obviously error logs aren't enough or Turn 10 would have solved this. Logs are not a holy grail but helpful possibly. If you cannot access the windowsapps folder that could be your issue. As admin you can show hidden folders and browse though it if you have the correct permissions. I had to fix once for the weather app, just kept closing but I didn't have permission. Win update removed it. Since I fixed them it has not happened with any windows store apps or games. Never happened to Apex, H3, F7 or H4.

It seems like this issue is getting bigger problem for this title. I have the same. So, they can close this case by refund.

My agent in my Forza Support ticket said they are working on a fix, but how long will that take is the real question, the people who were unable to play deserve the vehicles they missed, I think so anyways.

I tried what you posted a while ago. Nothing worked. My game crashes to desktop on first try, then works on second try. My computer just updated to 1903 last week, I was trying to put it off after reading about the issues people were having, but mine still does the same thing even after the update. Sometimes when fh4 updates, my game will run once, then just crash to the desktop every time I try to run it. By the next day it is back to one crash, then it runs. My problem happened in the May update with the skill tree fix. It ran perfect until that update. Put in a ticket, kept trying to fix it by using the things you posted, re-installing, resetting, trying to fix the teredo settings, nothing worked. Took 2 weeks for a reply that didn't help. Never seen a game with so many issues and a company so unwilling to fix their product. Posted about the lack of communication in the communication thread on the discussion board and was told to post issues on the support form. They don't even understand how to communicate. I feel for the people that can't get it to work at all. This far into it, these things should have been fixed long ago, but they just worry about the next playlist, and apparently this one is really messed up for the people that try for 80 percent. It just keeps getting worse.
