Tips and miscellany
Did
The Trial Co-Op Championship: "Porsche Cup" with Porsche 918 tuned to S2 997. This was one of the better Trials, we had a very good team and got this on first try. I was second, first, second, really good team mate leading races. I found this Trial to be quite easy, thanks to great route selection. I think the first one is the most challenging.
I have shared my tune for Porsche 918 and note that I also used that to beat "Hype Tour" championship.
Playground games took two tries. At first I ended up in team with 4 players having stock M-B G's. Didn't go too well, especially when opposing team knew what they were doing. Second time was actually great. Had a good team but opponents kept trying too even we won every round.
All mainland PR stunts with Bugatti Veyron SS X-tuned. Fortune Island Drift Zone with Formula Drift BMW.
Did all the championships on Pro difficulty, no driving aids except braking line, normal clutch. All stock vehicles except for Hype Tour.
Championship: "Saloony Tunes". Did this twice. First with Maserati Ghibli stock, which was really pure pleasure to drive. Won all races with it, Broadway Crossfire was bit tight. Then I realised Ghibli is not in the Autoshow. Took '06 Audi RS4 to championship because it's dirt cheap and people might want to try AWD too on this Again won all races with stock version of it. It was bit more close at Ambleside and Ashbrook Apex but ruled on Broadway Crossfire.
Really enjoyed this one and I think it has a lot to do with route selection.
Recommended car: Maserati Ghibli for pure enjoy factor, if you have it. If not and don't care about Street Races, '06 Audi RS4.
Championship: "Hype Tour". Did this with the same Porsche 918 and tune I used for Trial. Easy wins on Lakehurst Copse Circuit and Lake District Sprint. Did Waterhead Sprint last and found it challenging on Pro but nothing to danger Championship victory. Should be easy enough on Highly Skilled.
UPDATE: Run some tests on this and Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV stock can win all the races on Pro.
Ferrari F12tdf stock can win the first two races and is top 2-3 material on Waterhead Sprint on Pro but is tricky to drive.
Championship: "Summer Developer Championship”. Didn't really think this through before I started this. Picked 2004 Subaru WRX stock for this and then realised I'm using prize car to get the prize car. Never mind, I found these easy on Pro. Tested also '08 Mitsubishi Lancer GSR which I think may have the best Skill tree.
Trivia: There's Ice cream cone sign near start at Lakeside Rally Trail worth of "Creamed" skill which is worth about 1000 Skill points, bit exotic.
Recommended cars: '04 Subaru WRX can do this easily, '08 Mitsubishi Lancer GSR is faster and have a good Skill tree. Drivatars are still bit behind on custom routes, so car selection doesn't matter really.
I think this was the best Developer Championship we have had yet. All the routes were good but I really liked Lakeside Rally Trail, by Czphillips. That one is definitely going to my favourites. Both Treetop Towers by Rabid-irnoodle or something (?) and Bamburgh Pinewood Trail, by Willz121 were good, yet very different kind of trails. One circuit race, A Tunnel & Some Jumps by Xox(something) was quite different to the rest and in general but I felt it was good that there was wide selection of different type of routes. I found it more fun more after the first lap. Noticed something odd in braking line in the tunnel, line going corkscrew like in there.
I have recently raced some Custom Road Racing Blueprints and found battling Drivatars on them tougher than on these routes, but I think it's probably because those Road Racing routes were quite long having lot's of straight sections, where Drivatars can use speed upgrades to their full potential.
Weekly ForzathonNo need to upgrade the car for these. Didn't had problems with getting miles counted. Went to highway and went south, distance challenge was completed when I was driving back from southern traffic island towards north somewhere near speed trap.
For 15 PR Stunt Stars and final 225 mph challenge I recommend following.
Set route marker to Broadway Windmill PR Jump but travel somewhere near Backlane Drift Zone. Do Drift Zone, then drive trough Bridge House Speed Zone, keep following route to Windmill and do following Speed Zone, keep going to The Grange Speed Trap, Jump through Windmill PR Jump, set route marker to Highway Speedtrap. You can do High Street and/or Oakwood Speed Traps, you should have enough stars now but keep going towards highway, cut through traffic zone and final challenge to reach 225 mph should unlock.
Noble is pretty decent car to drive fast and since those stunts are so close to each other and highway, it can be even faster than fast travelling and watching loading screens.
Monthly Rivals Porsche 906 felt really interesting car and something I actually look forward to get.
