If you let people pick class and season then everyone is gonna pick S2 class in summer. Just watch, you let people chose and all adventures become the same, like it is in servers of FPS games.

FH3 with the Forzathon was absolutely terrible. If you joined in the second event of an adventure you had to do seven events with randies just to get the stupid prize, and you were frequently outvoted since people don't really want to do anything interesting.

Need I also mention how it became very difficult to find a lobby tailored to my needs in FH3 and how I was often dropped into a lobby without a proper car because the game simply didn't find a lobby with the specs I needed?

JONK apologized in the thread about initially getting the release time wrong. I believe the corrected date was Jan 15.

Wow! I was really hoping for the ability to "Toggle Headlights" and I am glad they are adding that feature. I was surprised to see "Bokeh Effects" and being able to "Toggle Drivers". Photo-Mode has certainly has improved. I can't wait to take photos again.

it was possible to do B and A class multiplayer championships in FH3, yes S1 and S2 events were also there but sometimes they even got voted down in favor of lower class races Other times they werent even available to be voted for. The new system removes all elements of player choice and control. You drive what the game tells you to drive and you will like it. I currently have absolutely no desire to play FH4's online modes beyond coop with a friend or 2. This comes after Fh3 where i dumped possibly hundreds of hours into online adventures sometimes up till 2 at night, or later.

Look like good improvements. Thanks for the custom control mapping fix.

No mention of addressing the numerous sound bugs that plague the game!?! :(

They know about Ranked Adventure and that it needs to be changed, they've already said they're working on it, but iirc they said don't expect it till sometime next year. I think they want to get Fortune Island released first. I'm grateful for the bug fixes and improvements that we are getting.

Ahhh, so I am not the only person that cringes at S2... My personal dislike for it might differ from your's

I can run in ANY class and I probably win the most races in S2, why? Because most people cant control those cars. S1 and A class are fun but i'd really enjoy some B and C class races, otherwise they're just collecting dust. Those would be longer races because its slower vehicles, also would give the clean racers a chance to get a comeback win after being bumped outside the flag.

Guess the engine sound will still randomly glitch out and the gear crunch when using manual w/ clutch will persist.

Of course they did, because that makes them money and fixes cost them money. It’s all about money to them.

A minor annoyance, which can take a back burner to more important issues...

Any chance we can get a time stamped list of talking points? To be honest theres about 90 seconds of interest to me in this livestream, and I cant be convinced to watch them with seething rage for an hour to hear about possible multiplayer changes

they uttered about 2 sentences about multiplayer update. Then they couldn't get into matchmaking and never mentioned it again. I'm done watching it. So disrespectful to those of us waiting for information.

They covered the specific multiplayer setup change coming into the Series 4 update in this stream. In this stream they stated that tomorrow's Forza Monthly livestream will discuss the multiplayer topic overall.

Why cant they just give us patch notes? I really dont have much love left for this franchise as a whole now. This game has sucked the life out of it for me. It was great for a week until I realized how half baked the online was, and what else was missing. Its ludicrous to assume we want to watch the devs play the game for an hour, just to hear a minute or 2 of (possibly positive) information about a specific game update. And the wall riding fix wont make it in the next update. So wallriders will continue to rule online for months longer..... so encouraging
