We are back following a brief visit to Horizon 4 which proved unworthy of of our HLCs.
In the coming weeks we'll be hosting regular weekly Hot Lap Competitions along similar lines to the first series, running through all the classes and choosing a different car division each week.
We've created a leaderboard for the current HLC at
www.hlrclub.com Here is a link to it:
There will be our usual rubbish prizes LOL. Credits prizes that most don't need and one of a kind Paint prizes to provide memories of your successes. But we hope that everyone joining in will get pleasure from the shared challenges we present. Everyone is welcome!
Here are the Rules:Each event will last 7 days, running from 11:30pm (UK time) each Wednesday. Yes, we've changed the day from Sundays to Wednesdays. Handy....converter....
Time ConversionTo take part you just need to post your time, set during the week, either in this thread or in the thread to be found on our new club website at
www.hlrclub.com . It's a new site but everyone is welcome to drop by, register, and join in there.
Drivers will be split into 4 tiers depending on their times set at each HLC:
1 Unbeatable
2 Professional
3 Expert
4 Highly Skilled
Prizes each week will be awarded to the following people:
- Fastest Unbeatable driver - 8 million Credits and a paint for their car.
- Fastest Professional driver - 6 million Credits and a paint for their car
- Fastest Expert driver - 4 million Credits and a paint for their car.
- Fastest Highly Skilled driver - 2 million Credits and a paint for their car.
- Tuner's Prize - 8 million Credits and a paint for the Tuner posting a time and sharing a setup that is driven
by another competitor to the highest place on the leaderboard at the end of the week.
Credit wins unclaimed by 11 pm GMT on the following Tuesday will be voided.
New drivers will join a tier for the following week's HLC dependant on the time they set. They can only win tier 1 in their first week.
Winners of tiers 2, 3, and 4 wll be promoted to the tier above.
Losers of tiers 1, 2, and 3 will be relegated to the tier below, unless their time is better than the winner of the tier below.
Other drivers from tiers 1, 2, and 3 can be relegated if more than 3 drivers from the tier below beat their time.
If a driver does not post a time they will not be relegated but if a driver doesn't post a time for 4 consective weeks their name will be removed from the tiers. If that driver rejoins at a later date they will be treated like a new driver.
