Next time try it with Collision Assist forced off. The new collision physics are pretty solid on their own, and in an environment where everyone is actively trying to race clean they're probably amazing.

Thank you guys! Now that racing has become exactly like horizon, I don't need to buy it anymore. I sure love being used at break pads and having to deal with people blocking roads!

Seriously, this collision assist has ruined racing. The old model was bad. This new model is way too stiff.

Yeah, none of that ever happened before the update.

Hi Guys

I'm going to keep this simple because i want turn 10 to see this cause i know how they think as a team.

Now If you like the New Crash Physics say Yes below
If you like the Old Crash Physics say No.

Remember YES or NO nothing else.

I'll Start NO
I dont need advantages.

At least, you could dodge it or knock them to the side if they were a pain and get away. Now they can just block the road and you can't do anything about ti because cars weigh as much as a moon now.

They can literally bring the field to a halt since it is impossible to move them out of the way. Also making the cars weigh 10 tons is definitely an arcadey aspect. Just tone down the collision model and ghost griefers.

That is not a problem with the collision system. That is a problem with them not ghosting backmarkers. You shouldn't be able to "move" people out the way.

EpicEvan777 I agree lap down car should be ghosted that will never happen image how much money Forza would loose. Wreckers would not buy the game half of there ability would be gone, that would only leave them turn 1 after that it is done it is over till the next race why buy the game see what i am getting at. This new update is more for the wreckers than the racer

I thought at first this might be a good thing but after a lot of races now, I'm convinced it is much worse overall. It's only better when everyone else in the race is honestly trying to race fair. Then, the odd little bump is of little consequence. But, how often do you get a race like that in public hoppers? You do sometimes, and it's great. But most of the time, you get one or several people who just don't care. They either want to win at any cost, or they just want to play bumper cars. This new 'assist' is gold for these people. It's made their 'job' a lot easier. I can tell that as more people are getting used to this change, more and more people are just thinking to hell with it, I'll just jostle and bump like mad, like everyone else is.

It's a mess.

Old system was bad, new system is bad. Maybe there can be a happy medium found, but I really hope they will listen to feedback and make some tweaks somewhere.
