[Xbox One] Vehicle sounds not working in Single Player Multiscreen

When playing in single player, multiscreen the engine noises don’t work. Tried various restarting the console, exiting and restarting the race, all without any effect. Managed to get it working once, but only was able to hear vehicle sounds for player 1 car.

When playing in single player, multiscreen the vehicle SFX rarely work. Tried various restarting the console, exiting and restarting the race, all without any effect. Managed to get SFX working once, but only was able to hear vehicle SFX for the top car in multiscreen.

I was at my brother’s house yesterday and we ran into this exact same problem.

It’s been over a week and there’s no resolution to this issue. So disappointed with how flaky this game is. What a waste of money.
