What happened to my post? You folks just delete and move posts as you please? Why have a forum to begin with?

Likely moved/merged by a moderator into another previously existing thread where it was more appropriate than creating yet another new thread to cover the same ground.

Remember, every new thread, like this one for instance, pushes someone else’s thread off the front page. If that new thread is simply covering the same ground as another existing thread on the front page then it is likely redundant and unfairly pushing another thread off the front page prematurely.

And yes, it’s our job as moderators to delete and move threads/posts where we fell it is appropriate.
