By golly, the update has been positive for me, too! I was skeptical, but I’ve driven several types of cars since and no longer need STM to give me a chance to save them from a spinout, even at 900 DOR with my Logitech G920 on simulation steering. I still lose some cars, but I feel it’s all my fault now, and not some flaw in the physics. Thank you, T10!
I have not tried SIM Steering since the update…I have been running with STM on in Normal steering, maybe that is why I have not really noticed a big difference.
I will give SIM/STM OFF a whirl tonight…I am hoping the results are really that perceptible, as this is how I would prefer to drive but had to abandon it early on due to complete and total inability to catch 90% of slides.
