Submitted tickets get auto-marked as solved with no further follow up

What’s the point of submitting a ticket if it automatically gets marked as solved and that’s the end of it? I’m not exactly incentivized to report the many other bugs I’ve encountered which aren’t on your known issues list. It’s the equivalent of a garbage can labeled “suggestion box”.
