I have run this event in the 2015 Hoonigan Gymkana 8 Ford Fiesta ST RX43, 4 times upgraded and achieved well under the 8 minute requirement, yet, the achievement did not pop. I then proceeded to run it FULLY STOCK (Build & Tune out of showroom), and, ran a 7:50.538 (almost 10 secs better than the 8 min requirement)…yet AGAIN, the achievement did not pop.
I had the same problem, restarted the game to see if it would pop when I completed again, and it popped after the game started, when the welcome screen opened.
Thank you very much for your tip! I actually restarted the game, and it did not pop…however, upon a hard reset of my box, then game restart…it popped. So, this has been resolved (at least for me).
