Previous Liveries/Paints Lost

I recently picked up Forza 6; however, I have not played since Horizon/ Forza 4. I received rewards for playing up until that point but all of my previous designs and liveries did not transfer. Are they lost, or do I need to buy a copy of Forza 5 then go to Forza 6?

you can only transfer them from Forza 5 and Horizon 2 ( xbone version)
any 360 versions can’t be transferred
