Need help with a V8 Supercar... Vinyls on the body going onto the spoiler

As the title says…

I’m trying to paint one of the V8 supercars and any vinyls I put on the sides of the car, towards the rear, end up leeching over onto the ends of the spoiler. It means I cannot place a layer group on the ends of the spoiler without it also being on the body.

Has anyone discovered a workaround for this? Frustrating to say the least.

BEst thing you can do is just try to match the location as best as you can without it rolling over to the spoiler. In FM7 it seem there is a lot of that.
