If your game has gone to start from scratch then a console reset worked for me, it’s worth a try as doesn’t damage any of your files and does a cloud sync for the game.
How to do it
Go to Settings
Choose System
Choose Console Information
Choose Reset Console
Choose Keeping my Apps and Games
Then start Forza and it should do a cloud sync… hey presto back in business
