FMCA: Forza Motorsport Community Australia >> Season 2017

For those not familiar with the Forza Motorsport Community Australia, we are Australia’s biggest Forza community, with over 4200 Motorsport and Horizon fans following us on Facebook.

Whilst FMCA has been known for the annual one-off replica event of the Bathurst 1000, for this year’s event we stepped it up to new and exciting levels. We introduced co-drivers so the stints can be shared between drivers, allowing even more people to compete in the event. We also came up with a smart formula to set the grid for the next stint, and with a dedicated Safety Car we had the race under control when needed. Given the broad skill level of all competitors in the field, as well as those joining us from other Aussie-based Forza communities, the event was a success and highly praised. The racing was close, clean and intriguing over all 161 laps. There was never a dull moment!

As of January 2017, FMCA will no longer be holding just the one event. Dubbed ‘Season 2017’, we expand into a raft of Championships and events across both the Motorsport and Horizon titles, opening up all Australian and NZ Forza audience no matter the skill level.

To kick things off with, we will be starting the season with (V8) Supercars, with TWO competitions opening. “Supercars Apex” is our title name for our top tier, with “Supercars Challenge” for the intermediate-rookies. Registrations will open in December via our website FMCAR Website But as the season progresses we will expand into Classic Tourers and GTE/LM class, plus much more.
