I noticed that the Forzathon stuff that I did I think Saturday got reset the next day, so I did them again. That might account for the additional points.
It happens when “Forza Horizon 5 Servers are offline. Loading default fallback playlist” Message shows up. It shows then “completed” again and adds the additional points, you can also get the cars from there again.
