I hope that both ends of that road are connected so that can be turned into a multi lap race… please make it so if its not already!

I expect it will be chock full of particularly irritating Drift and Speed Zones.

Really looking forward to driving the traveller. Will be choice of Car to explore in.

It will be, they seem to obsessed with Drifting at the moment with all the drift Cars being added. Game should of been Drift Festival.

Hardly any cars added in the Car Pass or the upcoming expansion are cars I would classify as “drift cars”.

Just a reminder, they have added drift suspension for a lot of cars, the formula drift cars and don’t forget the multiple duplicates (focusses, fiesta’s & mustangs dlc in a different livery) hoonigan and gymkhana garbage…

I think we have enough stuff for the pure drifters for now…

Reading some forum posts here remind me of being in a toddler’s daycare.

One group of kids gets new shiny toys. The kids that miss out scream and stomp, crying unfairness because they don’t get their own shiny new toys. Then those kids get new toys, and the previous group in the daycare will scream until the spoons and forks rattle off the shelves like a 7 Richter scale earthquake, because THEY GOT NEW BARBIE DOLLS, NOW WHERE IS MY NEW LIMITED EDITION LEGO SET?

We’re mostly adults here. Let’s try and be civil and respect who the developers cater for in DLC packs, because we’ve all had our turn in the last 10+ years of DLC packs in Forza games, so we’ll all get our turn again, right?

Or maybe I’m just expecting too much.

I agree with you that we are adults but that is making things worse. I work and get paid and i spend 80euros/dollars/pounds on a game that in the end has some issues.
Releasing bad and recycled dlc’s cars that need money to gain and some people paid in advance for them is kinda selfish and not respecting the trust
that some customers show. Having 10 hoonigan ford(focus, fiesta’s) car’s and 5 of them are in the car pass is kinda rip off. Actually in this game drifters got what
they requested all those years and im happy for them. I actually even like some japanese cars even though i don’t drift a lot. But making convertible version’s of already existing cars
this is a total ripoff. As i see the carpass now i can tell you that half of the cars could easily be free in the forzathon shop or rewards from seasonal events instead of 80k that we get now.
I don’t think that the car pass will change much. It’s like a pattern that PG and Turn10 copy from each other. If you remember back when FM7 was released all the dlc packs had an suv or an offroad truck in a game that hadn’t even a single dirt track. I mean it’s just logic. Maybe i’m just wrong. Who knows

Fact Check: There were only two Hoonigan cars in Car Pass, the Gymkhana 10 Cossie and Hoonitruck, which are entirely new cars. The other 3 Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 cars were free downloads because they are not new cars, but rather are basically new liveries/wheels and tires on cars already in the game.

Yea 2 cars that was my mistake. The escort was already in the game. it’s not new. just different livery. You could
just put all this car’s in a big car pack for free and everyone would be happy. and then put the not popular cars
in the car pass (spyder models, different variations of cars that we already have in the game) for free as reward from
seasonal events and then put in the car pass new cars in the franchise. I think i just solve you the problem with the cars.
I don’t know but this solution it’s pretty simple in my mind. Everyone would be happy.

But if hoonitruck is ford it’s mean we have 10 hoonigan fords, fiesta x2, focus x2, hoonicorn x2, rs1800, rs200, escort and hoonitruck. I really hope after rs200 i dont need to see any more hoonican cars espicialy any hoonican fords. And totally we have almost 60 fords and anythink goes races are full of focus so i get really tired to seing any kinda fords.

Ken Block is sponsored by Ford so of course Hoonigans are going to be predominantly Fords.

The drifters have waited longer than most people to get content. While I don’t drift, mostly because I’m horrible at it, I can appreciate that they are getting more of what they asked for. Between them and the drag racers, they have probably been clamoring for content longer than anyone else.

You think we have enough stuff for the drifters, they think everyone has enough of the things they want.

We rock crawlers, formula off-roaders and sand car people have been clamoring even longer. At least we are getting a proper sand car with the new expansion, but will we get a proper desert to use it in? And what rock crawling concerns, the game series took a huge step backwards from FH3. There is not even one single descent rock crawling spot in FH4, while FH3 had several. I’m also wondering when the kei car people will receive a little treat.

I personally think ‘rockcrawling’ is such a niche market, that they are not going to focus on it.
To be honest, didn’t even knew it was a thing, standout a part of the community.

Also, i dont get your point about the map complains? Doesn’t horizon 4 has the most elevation changes of the series; for example the huge mountain (north), beach and dunes (east), Arthur’s seat (north east) and the huge mine/gravel pit in the center.

I don’t expect the developers to focus on rock crawling either and I don’t blame them for not doing it. I’m just saying that we rock crawlers do exist and that we are more overlooked than the drifters and the drag racers. I’d recommend you to type in “forza horizon rock crawling” in the search on Youtube to get to know more about the community.

Formula Off Road is probably even more niche but it would be so sweet if we could get a Formula Off Road vehicle in the game, and I’m sure a lot more players than just the fans of the sport would enjoy it because of how insane and badass those rigs are.

The map of FH4 is fine for general off-roading, my complains are that the formation of the rocks makes crawling impossible, and the dunes on the beach are not big enough for a vehicle like the Funco sand car. A rig like that demands a proper desert with major dunes in order to reach it’s full potential. A British beach just ain’t the same as a proper desert.

The problem really lies in the physics though, right? Since terrain in Horizon tends to be divided into two categories: “smooth” and “don’t touch this”. I’m not sure if I see PG being able to create anything crawl-worthy without some big changes to the underlying engine.

I’ve been so conditioned to avoiding all rock structures, watching those Horizon crawling videos with the usual CLANK! sound effects and cars getting stuck and glitching out actually makes me slightly physically uncomfortable.

And here I am, still waiting for an “exotic retro sports cars” pack ;). TVR Cerbera, TVR Griffith, Venturi atlantique 300, Venturi 400GT, Spyker C8, Lister Storm V12, De Tomaso Pantera, Vector M12, VW W12 Nardò, Ford GT90, Dodge Copperhead (Dodge Concept Car).

A man can dream.
