Hey everyone,
I bought forza 7 today and boy have I had a field day trying to install the piece of [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D].
I’ve talked to three microsoft tech support guys and they’re all too stupid to figure out the problem so I’m trying the forums.
Whenever I try to start the forza 7 download it either:
- Doesn’t start at all, gives an error, and spams the "something went wrong, we’ll try again’’ message a couple of times.
- Downloads for 5 mins. at normal speed to about 2gb and then gives the same error. (wiping all progress it made thusfar)
- Downloads at negligible speeds.
I’m at the end of my rope here. The microsoft store is the most godawful thing I’ve ever experienced and is EXTREMELY clunky and unintuitive.
I tried the fix with fiddler and IDM but to no avail. The store craps out when I have them active.
Any ideas are very welcome.
