Does the demo unlock if I purchase the game?

Hi guys.

I just downloaded the 10gig demo off the Xbone store and I am loving the game so far. I’m curious, if I purchase the game through the demo will the whole game unlock once it releases in Australia or will I have to download the actual game?

I only ask just to figure out what is the best course of action for me.

They’re two different installations, requiring full download for the game.

You’ll have to download the entire game from scratch, yeah.

^^^^ and from now on keep this in mind. You will never have a demo that ties in to the real game, maybe beta’s and alphas but never demos.
