Cut it short. I couldn’t launch the game after I downloaded it for the first time. The “Check for Updates” windows pops up, followed by “Something went wrong, try again later”.
So I uninstalled and re-downloaded the game again. It worked fine yesterday, Today I just tried to launch it again and then I got the same “Check for Updates” and “Something went wrong, try again later”. Unable the sign-in in the X-Box App, unable to launch the game. Uninstalled the App, uninstalled the game re-downloaded the game, to no avail. I can’t even sign in in the XBOX App.
How in this day and age, the X-Box App and Windows Store are still that crap and causing so much problems, I’ll never know and I’m past giving Microsoft and their antediluvian store/app a pass. I’ve never seen anything like this and it’s a shame that these years old problems have never been fixed. I want to refund the game and get it on Steam.
Could you please help me do so? I can’t for the life of me figure out how to refund my game.
