It contrasts out and blends into the background.
I am playing on a 1080p projector so not sure if anyone else has the same problem.
Brightness is set @ 65
- the style looks great but maybe an outline option could work?
No Issues here on any of my screens. As you say, you are using a projector, so it may just be the lack of contrast. Especially if it was a cheaper projector.
To avoid the issue ive had to adjust the screen settings on my proj away from my preferred gaming calibration.
