Thank you for the welcome and feedback. You’re absolutely right about the decal variety but I’m quite new to the game and I’m just starting to built up such a library. I’ve lots of ideas and plans but besides the fiddly editor (which I consider a PITA compared to working with something like PS) there’s always the problem of time constrains.
I’ve been painting since the release of FH3. Time spent doing so is the main factor, nonetheless it’s taken me five years to get to where I am now. From what I’m seeing, you’re off to a great start. Everyone learns the little tricks and what not along the way. All your symmetrical stripes line up and match skew across both sides, decals are in neat rows where needed, awesome! Might I say much better than my own not-so-humble beginnings back then.
Thanks for the kind words! I’ve done various texturing for other games in the past and having studied game art also helps a bit. So, I’m not really a novice in these things. The major “problem” for me is working with the clumsy ingame editor. If you’re used to Photoshop this thing is just a PITA.
Finally found some time to take shots of what I actually wanted to show.
