Okay, so I’m not a Preview/Insider member - just regular user - and for the last two days, I’ve been getting a message to update my console and without this update I can’t go online. I have a “bad internal HDD” which means my console does not update the regular way so I use OSU1, which works fine and I’m happy with that.
This latest update though - target version 7196 (last four digits) - is apparently not available through OSU1 and there are no release notes on it either.
Have you guys gotten this update? I was on chat with an xbox support agent for nearly an hour and they couldn’t figure it out, said they would consult MS engineers and get back to me.
If this is supposedly a mandatory update, then it should be available on the system update versions page, right?
