Far as the auction house pricing goes, if no one paid the high prices for them, they would lower the price, but as long as someone is willing to pay the high price, they will keep selling them at the higher price. Really no different than real life.
The RS 4.0 just got a correction with the latest content update: the digital speedo on the dash is corrected and working as it should.
