Thanks Exizeo. We did have a thread before hand, it was too disorganised to do what I wanted to do with this thread.

    Re: |Next Level Photography| Directory/Discussion |

No problem Lotus, it's great to have you here. There's plenty of help available to get you on the right tracks, and setting up a gallery will further help you, as you'll most likely receive feedback from people such as LazarusJackson.

As with the questions, it's optional. However it's appreciated if you do answer them as it will allow other members [and non-members for that fact] to learn a bit more about you and your interests in photography. Yes

    Name/Nicknames: Shaun

Brief paragraph about yourself: I only like my photos for a moment, then I dislike them and want to do better with different styles and themes. I like the dissapointment of not being chosen so that I can push myself to get better, but I also love it when forum members garner favorites from my sets because I feel they have the most genuine set of tastes over a competition. I like shapes and trippy scenes that make you think for a moment, and I love minute details. In every day life, I'm a busy dad and student, so I cherish the few moments I can relax and shoot some Forza shots. Overall, I like things that take time - except load times and load screnes, plus previews and adds on movies - because they tend to keep my attention longer and give me a better range of thought by completion.

    -------------------------

How long have you been an active Forzatographer? A little over a year, since May of 2011.

Reasoning for diving into photomode: Love photography in real life and love the freedom to get crazy angles in Forza world.

Main sources of inspiration: Abstract art and electronic music.

Favorite Forzatographers:  MOB LBJ, Seps1974, LazarusJackson, Aztech318, and Sulcata da Godfatha.

Preferred style of photography: Artistic and motion based. In real life, I like the experimental types like slot-scan and HDR, plus long exposure shots.

Favorite car to photograph: Ferrari 599.

Number of T10 picks to date: Four, plus one for "Works of Art" that got a T10 pick.

Anything else you'd wish to add? I'm never afraid to fail, only afraid to quit.

I'll add yours shortly Shaun, however I just want to clarify some of the questions.

Main Sources of Inspiration:    This was supposed to be in terms of which people here on the forums you have gained the most inspiration from, but you can also list things such as music genras and such.

Favorite Forzatographers: This is for your favorite FORZAtographers. If Ansel Adams plays Forza, please tell me the gamertag Stick out tongue

    Gamertag: Exizeo

Name/Nicknames: You can shorten my GT to Exiz or just call me Richard. lol

    Brief paragraph about yourself:

I'm a pessimist that normally finds things that I don't like about my own pictures and finds good thigns about other people's stuff. It's good, but sometimes my pics end up looking like they copied someone else's stuff because I have no inspiration normally (I have too many white cars on the Alps >.>). I want to get more b/w shots but always feel like they are overpopulated. I try going for closeups then see something...wrong, then I go back to shooting boring pic after pic of expensive supercars in action (lol). I often forget Aperture and VIgnette in photos (as in my default settings had crazy vignette and i never changed it lol) so they look weird. I like reflective surfaces -- maybe TOO much, so now all my pics are overexposed. I can't get the same amount of love for unrealistic pics like I did before.

I like how some of the game's best photographers can turn a boring-ish theme (the back end of a Zonda CInque...I tried and failed with that thing) into something beautiful. Like a speedo, a light, an autovista shot, etc. Logos, chrome things, and just about everything I'd never think of. Yes, Sulcata, I'm talking about your recent set.

How long have you been an active Forzatographer? Gallery was made 10/11/12. I had to rush to get my pics out because I loved that date LOL. I've been an amateur forzatographer since like july.

Reasoning for diving into photomode: One day I went into the Media Center and went into the FTI thread, clicked on a few galleries, and decided that I wanted to do awesome stuff too.

Main sources of inspiration: Dunno...other forzatographers?

Favorite Forzatographers: SulcataChelone, TurkeyBoy, the 3 Lazarus (plural), evomunk, Sketchamus, nonficshaun, and many more.

Preferred style of photography: Realistic. One day I got a reflection on a light. I didn't know that could happen -- my old pics were all kinda dull, but in photomode, stuff just looks so much realistic...I'm sure eventually I'll grow out of it and start trying to screw around with unrealism and contrast again.

Favorite car to photograph: Ferrari 599 GTO, Audi R8, Porsche 911 GT2 RS, Nissan 370Z, and Jaguar XKR-S. Kinda hard to limit myself -- I try having a new car every set and I can't choose LOL

Number of T10 picks to date: 1 [1x 3rd place]

Anything else you'd wish to add? Nothing. I'm sure I'll add something later.

    Re: |Next Level Photography| Directory/Discussion |

Exizeo, don't be so hard on yourself. You produce some cracking photos and the rate at which you improve is above average. With a little faith, you could see yourself going really far with photomode.

I will get your bio up in a moment Yes Same for you Shaun, although there are a few answers you need to go over Wink

    QUESTIONS:

    Age: 17

    Gamertag: ProCarRacer13

    Name/Nicknames: Pro, ProCar

Brief paragraph about yourself: Racing games and cars, things I have adored since I was 5 years old. Y'know, now that I look back at those days and see how far I've come, I feel I've succeeded in a lot of ways, some of which are hard to remember. One being me getting my first A in Grade 3. Now, back to car culture. My first gaming system was the Nintendo 64, got it for my 5th birthday, and the game which came with it was Re-Volt. A R/C racing game. I remember playing that game for hours on end. It was my favorite, and it made me a happy kid. I would then go on to get more games such as, Hot Wheels: Turbo Racing, Stunt Racer 64, Diddy Kong Racing and Ruch 2049. Then, in 2005, I got my Original Xbox for Xmas. It came with 2 games (as a bundle), Fusion Frenzy and none other than Forza Motorsport 1. This was my first encountering with the Forza Motorsport series. That game taught me A LOT. It taught me about horsepower, lateral G's, the different components of the engine, customization, etc. The list goes on! That game started molding me into who I am today, a car guru. Finally, in 2008, I got my Xbox 360 (also a bundle), but not with Forza 2. Actually, I don't have FM2 or even owned it. It wasn't until December 2009 that I got back into the Forza Motorsport series with FM3. I got the LCE version of the game, luckily, it was the last one FutureShop had. (Fhew!). This game taught me quite a bit as well, things such as photography, it gave me knowledge about different manufactures such as Bugatti, SSC, Ultima, Spada, etc. I got my first T10 pick's in FM3, 1 for Race/Replica design, and photography. Now, 2011, Forza 4. This game gave me even more of a chance in photography, well really, it gave me 2 HM's! Almost back to back too. Week 7 and Week 10. FM4 also brought me into the "creating you're own gallery" genre. This was a big chance for me to show everyone what I had learned, and what I was going to learn in the future. Thank you FM, for basically changing my life, and molding my life's path.

    Sincerely,

    Pro

How long have you been an active Forzatographer?   Since approximately February 2010. Started a gallery in about April - June 2011

Reasoning for diving into photomode: As stated below, E Mc Sq is solely the main reasoning behind me getting into Forzatography and the way I use photomode today. Before I really got into photomode, I checked out his SF in FM3 when he was on the T10 Picks. I was amazed! To me, he was the "God" of photomode. Soon after that, I became friends with him. He would then go on to teach me basics and advanced techniques for photomode, like the use of Aperture and Black & White photography. So, thanks to E Mc Sq for turning me into the forzatographer I am today.

Main sources of inspiration: E Mc Sq

Favorite Forzatographers: I don't have any favorites, but as long as you have a style you can recognize, then I will most likely like you're photography.

Preferred style of photography: I like realism, filtered photo's and scenic (car in front, background is a recognizable noun. i.e. A mountain or a city.

Favorite car to photograph: Any Porsche, any BMW, any Ferarri, any Lamborghini, basically, any car. Stick out tongue

    Number of T10 picks to date: FM3: 1 (2nd)  FM4: 2 (HM)  Total: 3

Anything else you'd wish to add? Nothing as of now, but hopefully in the future. Smile
