i was looking at a new review from xbox360achievements which got to play 3 hours of the game. They said within their article that not only will there be 9 hidden barn finds in total but they also found one of them and said it was the  1971 Plymouth Hemi 426 Cuda! One of my favorite muscle cars of all time :)

all sounds awesome but since they are all older cars from the barn finds (which is not only realistic but kinda obvious) i honestly don't think these are going to take the place of unicorns. To go from 17 unicorn cars too 9 is way too much of a jump plus every game out there has special stuff for and from developers. just my opinion since unicorn cars in the past have usually been special editions of certain cars and not just regular old muscle's. For example the toyota supra is totally normal then in forza 4 you have the Top Secret 0-300 Toyota Supra which is not only street legal but also very hard to obtain (within the game for being a unicorn and within reality!)

All well and good, but the fact there are less than 10 Barns is the first piece of news to genuinely disappoint me, tbh. Maybe the recently-mentioned DLCs and expansions will add more? Oh well...

Can't get them all right away.  It was mentioned in one of the videos they only appear after you hear about them on the radio, and which ones pop up when is random.

True but the location might be the same so you know where to look when you get the update over the radio.

 

People with unicorns in FM4 should at least get their cars passed over or get something special from having earned them in the previous games. I love my RX-7 Spirit R great car! I will be very disappointed if i dont get something for the unicorns I have earned, even though I only have 2. The barn finds is a cool add on but shouldn't completely replace unicorns. They show an Achievement, beating a bounty Hunter challenge is not really all that easy usually in top 1% not too hard to get there for me its just the half seconds and tenths that get me. Do right be me T10 !!

I agree that there should be something given to the gamers that have recieved unicorns for their hard work. Unfortunately, I don't think this will be the case. It sucks, but something we're just gonna have to live with. Fortunately, we do get something for having FM4/FM3 saves.

NO, unicorn's were not hard to obtain. People could easily get two a week by leaving a simple comment in the RVM and WIR threads. Rewarding people who have "earned" unicorn's wouldn't be fair to player's that don't purchase XBL. However Having more cars in your garage at the start of your career for being a loyal forza player makes more sense, so depending on how far you got with your FM4 profile will depend on how many cars you start off with.

They went from 3 unicorns to 17 between Forza 3 and Forza 4 so I'd say that there is no such thing as too much of a jump as far as unicorns are concerned. The game is going to have fewer cars across the board (by alot) compared to Forza 4 so having unicorns at all should really be the question here. I'm not expecting unicorns in Horizon, simply because there will not be enough cars as a whole.

Yeah your right people can just post on RVM I agree that's really easy to do, but there are those people that try to get them by doing challanges and spend hours doing that. I spent around 5 hours doing a challenge a few weeks ago and getting a car from something like that should  get passed on or at least get something else for it. I like forza Its improved a lot it, it's just a little thing like  that wouldn't really hurt them to do it.

I found these by watching the cars which you can buy in the autoshow and comparing it to cars that have been confirmed on the facebook page and I saw the DB1 in some gameplay footage
