Hi guys couple of noob questions

How do you get unicorn cars (precisely please :) ) and what is different about them?

Do you need to be a certain level or do certain tracks in certain cars or what? I really am completely clueless do if someone can tell me everything I need to get started earning one it would be great.

Googled around and searched on here and couldn't find anything do sorry if this is a dupe post

Unicorns are special cars that can be obtained as gifts by Turn10 (Photo comps, challenges with T10 devs, game with devs, VIP rivals events, threads in the news' section by Johniwanna etc. etc.)

There are 17 unicorns:

Hello!

First, A unicorn car is an exclusive car, only gifted out by members of T10 to people under certain conditions. Unicorn cars are, like their real counterparts, extremely rare to find. So, Like in real life, FM4's unicorn cars are hard to find. (but, easier to get than in FM2/3)

There are numerous ways to get them, none of which involve you to be a specific level. These include;

• Being a helpful member of the FM community
• Participating in the Rivals event where it states 100 of the Unicorn cars (the BMW M3 street version) will be randomly given out
• Community bounty hunter events which have a T10 member as the rival (keep looking on the General discussion page here to find out when they happen)
• Posting on the News section Johniwanna writes, when he is gifting them out (he is known as the Unicorn car saint in these places:P)
• WHen they return, being the celebrity guest in the King of the Track events
  
• or being a VIP member, where you periodically get gifted them

I have also read it, and i am sure that some people would have. But, its just one of those things that seems to not be true until someone does receive one out of the blue.

But, just because theres a unicorn on offer, doesnt mean someone should just be helpful for that reason alone. Its more just a little 'thank you' gift i would say.

And, helping one another out makes the community a happier place to be :D
