    GT2 cars (whats left)

first of all this is not a wishlist just a question

With the addition of the risi 458, i was just wondering what GT2 models that are currently racing do we not have, if im not mistaken we have every model in the ALMS (with one exception  ) but i dont know about the european teams or asian teams.

i'm not talking about teams but car models. i think that the GT and LMP selection in forza is top notch, and i couldn't ask for more

    P.S. great work T10

along with the obvious 911 GT3 RSR, we're still missing the corvette C6.r GT, the lotus evora, the spyker C8, the panoz abruzzi and the aston V8 vantage.
Dan Wheldon, you will forever be missed.

    Isn't there a LP570 GT2 as well?

Kinda... It's pretty much a GT3 car with some tweaks, and it has never been competitive.

no, there is not a real Lamborghini GT2 car. there was a GT3 car that ran modified for GT2 specs for 3 races this year, but it was not an official GT2 car built by any company.

Reiter sells a GT2 car, but it's mostly one of their GT3 cars, tweaked a bit to fit in the GT2 rules (mostly suspension related if I remember right). Reiter ran it a few times in LMS races I think, and a few were sold to an FFSA team and an Italian GT (or was it GT Open?) team where the series are more BoP based. Fabien Giroix also ran one in the 6 hours of Silverstone last year, as well as at Zhuhai I think.

hm, didn't know reiter made a more official car. the only one I knew about was west racing's gallardo, which was modified off a production car by the team!

Still missing the Corvette C6.R ZR-1 GT2.  Also the Panoz Abruzzi has done a few races in ALMS, even though it hasn't been very competitive.

    Re: GT2 cars (whats left)

The problem is, there's no European Gt2 cup anymore. So ther are barely any GT2 teams.

    It's all Gt1, GT3 and Gt4 at the moment.

So, if you're aiming at Gt, I'd look more towards GT3 and Gt4 in Europe.

And yep, I showed some Gt4, which is getting bigger around here due to low costs.

the website for GT2 europe does exist however, but has no new content..

    http://gt2europe.com/

And no, I didn't really want to change this thread into a wishlist thread, but there's no GT2 available anymore.

    Gaiajohan:

I'd love some Dutch Gt4 cars..

    Ginetta G50 GT4
Porsche 911GT4 (won't be in of course)
    BMW M3 GT4
    Chevy Camaro GT4
    Ford Mustang GT4
    AM vantage GT4
    Lotus Evora GT4
    Corvette C6 GT4

    And especially: Donkervoort D8 GT4

Thank you for going off topic and making this your personal wishlist thread....

For current GT2 cars, we don't have:

    Corvette C6.R

    Aston Martin Vantage

    Lotus Evora

    Panoz Abruzzi

    Spyker C8

and obviously the Porsche 911 RSR

    Re: GT2 cars (whats left)

In 2012 you might see some new cars when the FIA GT1 World championship will allow 2009-spec GT2's again,

The new FIA GT World Championship will take 3 classes on track:
    GT1
    GT2
    GT3

I'm pretty sure Dagys reported that the West Racing car was a Reiter car as well, and the team was using Reiter drivers...

Yeah, I was disappointed when Forza 4 was missing the ZR1 GT2 even after it was missing in Forza 3 :(
