i was wondering what the best car in forza is in each class

These are my favorites:
D-   RX7, Elan
C-   R32, Silvia,
B-   Evo VIII GSR, R32
A-   '84 Ferarri GTO, Lotus Esprit, 944 Turbo
S-   Subaru 22B, 350Z, '66 GT40
R-   '87 Porsche 962c #17, All American GT & GTS

Honorable mention:
    '67 Ferarri 330 P4, Ford GT, 300ZX, Volvo S60 R,'87 911 Turbo, '68 GTO, Saleen Mustang S281, Series 1 Shelby, '93 Testarosa, and the '54 Gullwing. These are just a few of my favorites. Havent really taken advantage of the D and C classes so not too many to chose from in my garage. I like most all of the cars except any front wheel drive cars.


Winner: 1990 RX-7 Turbo is the best car overall. It can be upgraded to race fairly competitive in every class except R. Overall this car is the best, IMO.

Runner up: 350 Z. Goes from C to S and is decent in all fields. Accel, Handling, etc..

2nd Runner up:Porsche 944 Turbo. Can go from C to S and stay competitive, would have taken 2nd, but gets kinda crazy when you make the leap to S class with this thing.

A few words. All of the American cars would have been much more competitive with the inclusion of body kits. You should be able to put a lip, diffuser, and spoiler on any car. The Viper, Corvette, and Mustang would have been very competitive in the A&S classes with the inclusion of these items. It is nice to be able to get the best part combo with the Japanese cars and then be able to add body pieces to get even more out of the car without jumping a class higher(usually). Just my thoughts and opinions.

I thought this answered the question. I just went a little further. As far as each class goes, you are spot on. No discussion needed.

    CRX is only competitive in 2-3 of the classes. So I would not put it as absolute best in the game. I would rank the RX-7 higher because it is a good car (not great) in any class.

Well, its better then the RX7 in D, C and B. I didnt compare, but I'm quite sure its gonna be better in A and S too.

    In A & S class the CRX isn't worth anything. The Mazda will outperform in those two classes, but I'm not really comparing them directly. The CRX is junk except for the fact that it goes like a bat midrange to top end. It is really not much of a racecar. Again, this is only my opinion and I favor the RX-7. Overall, I still give it to the Mazda. And it is nowhere near the best in any single class, only good in all.

I must say its been a really long time since I last drove a rx7 in A class (never drove it in S as far as I can remember.) As far as the CRX goes, never drove it in B and higher, so... I cant really compare...

Ferrari 360 FTW

Its beautiful, quick, and it makes a meal out of all the corners but I learned to love it.

I really like the suburu 22b in class D to A and the saleen S7 in S

Shelby series 1--   A class
Mustang Boss 429  B-class
Audi Coupe Quattro--  D Class

The 350Z was the best all-a-round car from my experience.(for me and my driving style)

My only departure is B class. I think the TK, NSX-R and Elise 135 are very closely matched. In fact I get better results from the Elise and NSX-R myself.

On long straights the TK seems to be able to outpull the other two.

My MR2 and GSR have better stats than the CRX in Classes D-C. As does the Subaru in Class B. CRX is the lazy man's car...
