    Re: wheelies HERE!!

Try setting the Rebound and Bound Settings to opposite Maximum and Minimum... and then switching that based on front and back... raise the front above the rear for ride height... and add some power to the back wheels...

If the ride height of the front is lower than the rear... the tires will just spin...

it is simple physics really... Moving the fulcrum closer to the front wheels will make it easier to pop wheelies... weight balance to the rear...

Finding the Right car... may be easier than you think... and since engine swaps will usually add weight to the front, OI recommend upgrading the stock engine... and if changing the drivetrain makes the car heavier when making it rear wheel drive... do that also.

Last chance... Raise the front all the way up, and bring the back all the way down... Moving the lever upwards will help the Lever move in the desired direction...

Wheelies will be helpful with drag racing... since it is much harder to spin your wheels if they are the bearer of the weight...

Now the wait for Forza gets worse... 4 days left.Indifferent

I will be super pissed if this guy isnt right how can you call this a real tire sim if a 2500 lbs car can not pop the wheels off the ground with only 400 hp and some thick mickeys???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

    Re: wheelies HERE!!

ive been talking to some guys on other forums (im a forum nerd for forza the last few days) and people have fully built cars and with slicks it wont even attempt to pull off the ground. i guess the video was fake. i cant believe turn 10 would do that to us:(

    Re: wheelies HERE!!

The slicks in the game are not drag slicks, they are circut slicks.  They really don't bite all that well at launch, al least the Hoosier A6's I run for autocross don't.  This type of slick is super stiff with soft compound on the driving surface.  If they add drag slicks and sim the tack adhesive used on real drag stips, it may work.

Now, I wonder if I could get a Range Rover to wheelie. I'll go try it.

    Re: wheelies CONFIRMED HERE!!

As far as I can tell. Wheelies are far from being confirmed. The Fox is doing a bouncer. You can tell because the background is clearly moving very fast which wouldn't show up if the car was just launching. IMO that's now a wheelie, that's like saying any car with hydraulics can do wheelies.

The pic of the BMW, you can see the shadow from the front tires directly at the bottom of them. Plus, the speed the rear tires are spinning and the fact that you can see two poofs of smoke behing the car just show that the car is mearly spinning the tires off the line. The color difference of the track is just playing an illusion on your eyes making it appear that the car is doing a wheelie but it really is not.

Until I get a video of a car doing a wheelie or a picture where the tires are clearly off the ground from a launch, wheelies are still not confirmed for me.

    Re: wheelies CONFIRMED HERE!!

First you have to figure out how to launch correctly in this game then you might have a chance, i am going to build and SRT8 probably tonight as i already made an IROC with over 900 horses and no luck maybe some porsche crap like the foxbody pics but that ain't even fun considering the thousands of people that did it in FM2 but then most do not know how to make wheelie tunes other than porsches when there were quite a few cars in FM2 that could bounce but only the one porscvhe that could truly wheelstand off the line, there is an art to launching on this game and there seems to be a way to hook up well in RWD's but i have not tried enough of them yet as i'm busy trying to top the 1/4 with my team, we currently hold 5,9 and 14th place so we know what we're doing, just a matter of time i think unless some one wants to gift over a challenger right now as i have to get 600k to buy an R2 car for my next series.

If soemone wants to gift one i would be happy to try and make it launch off the line and win or lose you can have the car back with whatever tune is useful(either the wheelie tune or a hella fast drag tune both would be free for the services given).
