    Re: confirmed tracks for FM3

I liked this line in that article:

"The new game will also feature exceptionally realistic renderings of race courses that Audi has dominated in recent years, including home of the 12 Hours of Sebring and several others that will be revealed in the months leading up to the game’s Fall release."

Considering that the only other race that Audi has dominated recently is Le Mans......

Of course thats not confirmed, but its a good hint, I'd say.

list has been updated, and i've added a section for the expected, but not officially confirmed tracks. currently that just has tracks where audi win at le mans alot, but i have no idea what those might be

The only tracks that Audi has recently dominated at is Sebring(excluding 08) and Le Mans.  Everywhere else, Peugeot has pretty well given them a whoopin.

oh, is there just one track for le mans (circuit de la sarthe on GT4), because i thought there were several

    Re: confirmed tracks for FM3

i would expect most of fm2 tracks to return, including the dlc tracks

    so

    road atlanta (2 ribbons)

    road america

    mugello (2 ribbons)

    nurburgring nordshefile??

    sebring (3 ribbons)

    suzuka (3 ribbons)

    silverstone (3 ribbons)

    motegi (4 ribbons)

    tsukaba (2 ribbons)

    sunset infield (4 ribbons)

    maple valley (4 ribbons)

    king cobra (2 ribbons)

    nissan speedway (2 ribbons)

so theres 33 tracks there that you would have thought would be carried over

    Camino Viejo de Montserrat #2

    Ladera Test Track #2

    drag strip

most proberly they'll be le mans (either 2 or 3 ribbons i'd guess, depending if they have the chicane less version from the 80's, and they use the bugatti circuit) they was strong rumors for the nurburgring f1 track for forza 2, which have a few ribbons, plus the full endurance course.

judging by the video they'll have fujimo kaido back, if so, theres another 4 ribbons for you.

when you think about it, they wont be alot of new tracks so to speak, unless they actually mean 100 different locations (which i highly doubt)

*edit* just relised i forgot laguna seca, how foolish of me !

    Re: confirmed tracks for FM3

Given we have Camino Viejo de Montserrat #2 and Ladera Test Track #2, I think we can infer that Camino Viejo de Montserrat #1 and Ladera Test Track #1 have to be in the game somewhere.

I know, I'm being a smartass, but just sayin'....

There's more than one track in the Le Mans SERIES, yes.  But Le Mans is its own track, still.  It can be called Circuit de la Sarthe or whatever, but its commonly just called Le Mans.

Well, they've said drag racing will be a part of the game, so there will be one.  I kind of doubt it will be more than that, though; I mean, how many straight lines does a game need?

One of the still images of the R8 V10 has a grandstand in it that is VERY Silverstone-esque.

    I think it's pic 10

Yeh looks like Silverstone to me aswell, looks like the screenshot is taken on the first corner of the track.

Well Forza 2 didnt get all the Forza 1 tracks (i think) so i wouldnt expect all the of the tracks to make it into forza 3 but definatly the big famous ones like Silverston, Suzuka, Laguna Seca, Sebring and hopefully Road America.

Allan McNish (Audi) certainly gave the pug crew a whoopin' at Petit Le Mans (Road Atlanta) in 2008.

well, i would have a little bit more faith this time round, seeing as fm1 and fm2 were released on different consoles, same thing happened with gt2 and gt3, then look at the expantion gt4 was on that.

and plus 100 tracks is a big ask, so they would be helping themselves by using tracks from fm2  (and proberly saving alot of aggrievation from the comunity e.g. i can imagine all the italians complaining no end if they was no mugello)
