New Season The Bismark 400hp Team Championship

Its time to announce the all new Bismark Team Championship.
After successfully running four previous championships and having the support from Turn 10 its my pleasure to a provide a team event that is going to be fun for everyone involved.
I am only going to provide the basic rules for now, as I have formed a committee who will be laying out the full rules and regulations of this Championship.
These rules and regulations will be posted fully in this thread very soon, but for now here are the basics.

There will be 6 teams of  4 drivers  for a total of 24 drivers in all.

All 6 teams have a captain.
Each captain will pick a driver from the 18 drivers available.
All 18 drivers will go into a draft, there will be 3 rounds of draft.
The team captains have already been chosen based on their league position from last season.
The captain who finished 6th last season will get 1st choice in the 1st round of the draft.
The captain who finished 5th last season will get 2nd choice in the 1st round of the draft.
This will continue through to the capatain who won the Championship last season,he will get the 6th choice. This will end the first round of the draft.
There will now be two rounds of draft left and 12 more drivers still to be drafted.
The draft will go to a third round which will let the captains pick up the remaining 6 drivers.

Each team will have a team name, to be decided by the teams.
Each team member will have his own race number that he may choose himself.
The team may have their own team colors and race livery should they choose to do so.

All cars in this Championship will be limited to the following.
    400hp maximum.
Weight limit of no less than 2600lbs.
    Any assists will be allowed.
Full racing simulation will be applied on race day.
Collisions will be on with full simulation.

The season will be run over a 10 week period.
Each team will race each other twice in the season.
There will be 10 different tracks.
There will be 2 races on the same track for any given week, each race will be a minimum of 25 laps.

The top two teams at the end of 10 weeks will race for the Team Championship over 10 laps at The Nurburgring.

Race tracks and the points system will be posted at a later date once the Race committee have reported back to me.

The race times and start of this Championship is still to be decided but it will be sometime in September.

If you are a clean commited Forza driver then you will not want to miss out on this event.
Once I have enough drivers signed up I will conduct a race try-out for all new people coming on board.

Stay tuned for more developments as they happen.
Please post your Gamertag on this thread if you are interested in the ultimate team event of the year.

    Thanks all

    Bismark

    Silver,

Start with cars from last season.

    AB Flug

    Shelby Series 1

    Lotus Esprit

    Mugen Integra

    Honda  NSX-R

    Boxster

Then there a ton of new ones to chose from, here is a couple good choices.

    Fairlady Z Ver S

    Audi TT 07

    Lancer Evo 10

    Volvo S60 R

There are way to many to list and I'm sure there are better ones. I've made up over 40 cars thrown 10 back and there probably another 30 to build.

Re: New Season The Bismark 400hp Team Championship

I will get to building, thank you for the information.

For anyone new just reading this thread I have participated in The Bismark Open since Season 1.  This is the cleanest racing in Forza.  If you enjoy a bit of teasing, practicing all week on the same track preparing for that week's race, tuning, painting, helping one another, hoping to kick their teeth in on Saturday night, then this is the place for you.  There has never been an intential wreck in this series, drivers are held to a very high expectation, if the pass is not there don't take it.  Drive hard, but stay clean.  2 hours at Road America or Nurburgring, with full sim where just one misplaced tire could cost the race is so nerve racking, but also totally brilliant.

Hot Lapers, you think your fast?  Show me when full sim is on over 50 laps.

The Mugen is the same as last year.

Tracks will be determined this week A.S.A.P.   Start making up cars and I should have the tracks for you real soon.  There is another meeting of the minds tonight at 9PM

Re: New Season The Bismark 400hp Team Championship

    I'm in.

No real shocker there! Two seasons of Bismark and I can't recommend it highly enough for anybody who is thinking about it.

Oh, and add HyperChurch to the provisional list..... I 'think' he might be interested in this!

I'll try and meet up for a few laps with him and see what he's like... It'll be ace to have another Brit in this!

    This time it's war!

Re: New Season The Bismark 400hp Team Championship

of course im in, but im making this post mostly to hold the spot for my car list...im doing this for any new comers that may not have the funds to buy and try a ton of cars, i will be making roughly a 20 car list of cars that can be very competitive this season, and ill post it once i have an informed decision.  and after the list is posted feel free to add to it, and i will add to it as well, when and if i find other cars that can compete

I'm interested, but I need to know when you run your races.  Saturday evening is my best time, and weekdays are totally off limits (unless you race LATE, ie - after midnight US EST...)
