Turn 10 Unicorn Design Contest

We have been kicking around the idea of making specially designed Unicorn cars for awhile. The Too Human car will be the first of the series of designs that I will be making on one of the three Unicorns, but why should I have all the fun. So we are starting a contest for the community to make a design for any of the three Unicorn cars.  There will be one winner picked from the Race/Replica section and one from the Fantasy/Illustration section.

The winning selections will be used as contest gifts for our upcoming Turn 10 Sponsored contests. We have some new contests coming in the next few weeks and would like to offer some new prizes to our community.

Rules of the Contest

The design must belong to you and be your creation.  Posting someone else's work is not allowed!

The winning designs must be gifted to my GT phREDESIGN in order for me to apply the paintjob to the correct car. I will work with each winning designer to make sure the design is applied correctly.

Each user is allowed only 1 post (which they can re-edit over and over again) to show off a maximum of 3 pictures in their post.

These 3 pictures can be of the same car (if you need multiple angles to get across the theme of a car) or of 3 different cars.  The choice is yours.

Cars with damage and inappropriate liveries will be disqualified. Also, altering your image with Photoshop or any image editor will also disqualify your entries from competition.

 

The design must be made for one of the three Unicorn cars:

Chevrolet Camaro 35th Anniversary

Lotus Exige Espionage

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI TME

If you do not have one of those cars to create your design on then use one of these similar cars:

2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS

2005 Lotus Exige

1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR

 

We will close this thread and stop taking submissions on Wednesday  July 16th.  Remember, each person gets 1 post in this thread, and they can post a maximum of 3 pictures.

I like the idea Fred, have you a closing date in mind? With Fluex's Tarot contest and the comedy contest on the go at the moment, might be nice to have a bit of time to produce something special. Or you know something not to be ashamed of lol.

EDIT I really should learn to read, hmm July 16th. . . . Will depend on my gaming time over the next couple of weeks, but would like to be able to contribute.

This is a great idea as many people have the cars but have no paint fer them. so getting  a painted car instead of an unpainted 1 is pretty cool

Is there any designs that Turn 10 is looking for? Like video games only, forza based, etc?
Also I had a few unicorn questions?
What can you win them?
What are all of them? And how can I look at them so I know which ones I want if I did get a chance?

Or possibly paint the design onto the car that's similar to the Unicorn car you're using? I think the 3 below can all be gifted???

Anyway, very cool idea! The first thing i did when i received my Evo TME was to apply the design which won it for me. I imagine there will be some top notch designs coming in for this, looking forward to 'em.

Ok, Lee and Midnyte are correct. Once you layout your design on your Unicorn of choice then you would place the design on a car that can be gifted. The three non-unicorn cars I listed above are probably your best choice as it will make the job of transferring the paint job a lot easier.

Now about the design, if you are doing a Fantasy Livery it can be anything you want as long as it is within the obvious Terms of Use and is not too provocative.  A Race/Replica design can have any sponsors you want it is an open contest.

In the T10 blog abou the 100th PPR Cover Picture I think, there is a statement about the winners reward. It says that you can pic from the "Painted" Unicorns.
