Hello,
This post is meant to address any and all personal issues that
might arise within the various sections of our community. There has been
a recent trend of users pretending to be someone else in hopes of obtaining hard
to earn Forza 2 community commodities (paintjobs, tunes etc…). This is
obviously undesirable for the community as a whole and as a result Turn 10 will
be investigating cases of this happening.
In the mean time if you do have a personal issue with
another person or group on our forums or on Xbox LIVE, you should resolve this
matter privately, through personal messages. If the situation
cannot be resolved without the aid of Turn 10, then you should contact us
directly, instead of posting your complaint on the public forums.
Publically releasing these complaints not only makes our jobs harder, but also
creates an unnecessary uproar over these situations.
Going forward if you want Turn 10 to look into these types
of situations you will have to bring forth the information directly through
PM’s to either “Landin T10” or “redesign”, or through e-mail to forzafb@microsoft.com. If you post your
problem openly on the forum your thread will be locked and your situation will
not be handled by Turn 10.
The best way to avoid these issues altogether is to be extremely
cautious and aware that there are people out there trying to scam you.
