TM Line - Community car series project

After all has happened in the other two discussion, i've decided to take care of this project. If other people want help, better. Otherwise me and the poor boys will take care of releasing the whole line of cars.

This is a not for profit, is a community project so the cars will be sold at cost.

This is not a competition. Is for the community

The aim of the project is releasing a line of car at cost price to give to everyone something to compete online in any kind of room. That's why i went back to the original line, one tune for a specific kind of track, to avoid duplicates. Long tracks are for driven one, like mugello, suzuka and silverstone. Speed oval includes power tracks like sebring and sunset. Medium are short versions of the tracks, and maple i think. Short tracks are basically TT.

Any kind of car is welcome, even LB ones, but please (and that's a personal hope), use your fantasy in the choice. There was a 30+ pages 3d asking for new cars in the general section, in the game we've got more than 250 cars, but online i see the biggest part of the people using always the same stuff. And same on tm, i saw thousand of 22b and evo coming up, but almost never a lancia stratos or mazda familia. And those are example, please don't link a 3d to prove i'm wrong. You all know what i mean.

I've added a special category for the nurburgring, but it doesn't need to be filled to close the project. I'd like to see in this category a good ring car with a grip tune, not the usual muscle. If we could fill it, good, otherwise will stay there.

Any kind of paint is welcome, but they must have the project logo on it. Which logo is still to be decided. I really like cannon fodder one, but if other logos came up there will be a vote on it. As tweek88 suggest in the first discussion, the logo will reflect the corrispondent class colour, so it will be purple for D class, blue for C etc.. Every car must have the number on it, and because this is a series of cars number will go from #1 for D class short track to #24 for oval U class. Nurburgring category is out from this numeration, if we fill out we will find something for it.

So, there are 24 and more cars to do. This is open to any garage or individual that want to help. I will be moderator of the project. If there are problems, i'd like to see it solved pacifically, with a clean and quiet argument. If there are new proposal to improve the project, they will be considered, and if the majority of the people involed like it, the proposal will pass. That's because this is a community project and not something ruled by an individual.

Release date as it was proposed in the second 3d is the 4 of july, indipendence day. But i'm expecting delays on the project, so it will be updated when we know it.

If a moderator will make this new 3d sticky on top will be of help.

As from the first 3d, poor boys will do C class for long tracks.

Sign up your garage below and the class/track type you want to do.

I hope in your collaboration guys. Good work to all.

Re: TM Line - Community car series project

I have a grip tune in S-class which i have been working on and it gets around the Ring in 07.06.xxx (its a saleen s7 thoSad [:(]) I am not very good at the ring so this time is amazing for me and still holds my PB as the missile cars are too hard to drive! Im sure people that know the track and are good can get sub 7mins

I will speak with IL3 but put us down for S-class Nurburg for now please mate.

EDIT: Got the thumbs up from IL3 so were definatly in.Yes [Y]

A class Evo X, please, no remarks it's the fastest car on these tracks this side of an elise, i might change my mind though but the car is in the top 100 (69 i think) on inland taipan reverse with a base tune on.

S998  Medium Tracks.... wont say what car.... will be a suprise

also: that the car have built will be good for both medium to long technical tracks (ie Motegi (all version except speedway), Suzuka)

and if able to... a medium a-class as well if there is space for it
