Hi, my name is Mike, I'm a moderator on 8thcivic.com, a community dedicated to enthusiasts for the new generation Honda Civics, and we have a group of people that are really hoping the 2006 Honda Civic Si coupe will either make it to the game or become a downloadable add on.

Yeah, I was really surprised to see that the '06 wasn't making it into the final game at launch.  I'd hope they'll release it as DLC, so we'll just have to wait.  It's a really slick car.

Wow, I'm actually really surprised that's not in!  I didn't even notice.

Considering the game has the Mk V GTI, Saturn Redline, Cobalt SS, it seems like a jarring omission.

Yep definately makes me sick looking at it.

Im really suprised people still buy those.  You are taking an economy car chassis with an RSX motor and some body effects.  That doesnt make a sporty car to me.

Why would you post in here if you dont like the car?

The civic SI used to do that.

Now the SI is priced in the same range as way better performing cars that have arguably become more reliable even.  I dont mind the 99/2000 SI as it was a great addition to the civic lineup but after that they have gone downhill.  The price has been rising with a decrease in performance when compared to other cars in its class.  Its not such a good deal anymore for performance.

 

You're surprised people buy these?  What did you dislike about it when you test drove it?  I'm looking for actual experience, not just conjecture.

There's only one Generation of Civic that's worth a second look is the 1991 - 1994 hatchback

All other models are just posers !

I'm not suprised the new Civic SI didn't make it in there though I wish it would have.  Same goes for the RSX-S/Integra Type R being an '02 model instead of the better looking (imo) '05+ model.  I also wish they will throw in the old classic Mitsubishi Starion (hint hint Turn10).

Just ignore him it's nothing than flamebait, some people love to hate Honda. Not a discussion that is worth spending time on. I have plenty of fun with my i-vt (and it's the one I can afford) on the track, others have fun with their cars. People are different, have different preferences, budgets, income.

It seems like it's a fast and good little car and I would'nt mind trying one in FM2...but it's ugly imo.

I would also love to see the 06 civic si added into the game, there are tons of the mini minivan body style si's/type r's in the game and thats probably the worst si honda ever made.  Plus I would love to be able to drive my own car in the game.

Have you even driven it or read any reviews or articles by owners?  People are loving it.  Thing handles like a dream thanks to the LSD.  So it doesn't have a crapton of horsepower... it's nimble and quick.

i too would like to see the new SI in the game... i wouldnt mind driving one in the game either.
