I had a chat with Binman, Lee, Ollie and Three and we came up with the idea to show off some of the Artwork that is sleeping deep down in our Garages.
This thread should be a place to show off beautiful designs.

Comments are very welcome in the thread.
I hope you guys will show us some stuff we never saw before.
Please do not post pictures of your own artwork!
Please only post one picture per car, that makes 3 Pics in total.
No photoshop, and please post only in game pictures.

Allright guys keep the pictures coming.

Fantasy design

Wolverine by Little Vixen.
When i first saw the design i knew i had to own it so i started selling again to have enough Credits to bid on it. what more needs to be said about this masterpiece.

No particular order...

First up...

Panda Twin Turbo's Veilside F99.
A complete design, from the artwork to the layout.
Using the shape and curves of the car to perfection.
I purchased this a very long time ago in the AH, and loved the design from the first time I see it, and I still do.
It hasn't aged a bit from when Panda first designed it. Still a wicked design that would take a lot to better.

Second up...

Kunoichi Honda S2000 (artist unconfirmed).

I bought this ages ago in the AH, I'm not sure who the original artist is (car history says 'GURI R' as original owner, but it has 6 owners in total. Probably 'duped' back in the day?).
This design has so much going on, vibrant colours and a full layout. Quality artwork, with some very high detailing. The flower on the hood and roof is a work of art on it's own!
How all this was fitted onto the roof and hood baffles me, easily running at 1000 layers.
The other side has the image from the hood and a slightly different layout from the other side. Usually I'm not a big fan of unmatching sides on a design, but this one works very well.
Whoever painted this obviously knew the Forza paintshop inside out, from day one, being this design is so old, and yet still an excellent work of art...




Third up...

Little Vixen's Koi R34.

A long time ago in the AH, I spyed this design, immediately I had to have it!
Back then the 'dupers' / 'glitchers' ruled the AH, and one of the 'big' name cheats was bidding against me.
But for some reason they just backed off, and I won the car :)
It sat in my garage, loved, but I was unaware of the original artist. Checking the cars history, it said 6 owners. Didn't know the original owner, didn't know if it was that person who made it. But ''who cares'' I thought, the car is now mine.
A while later I found a pic of this design in a certain someone's gallery. The awesome 'Little Vixen'.
A quality artist that has just got better and better on every design.
The reason I've picked this car is because of it's beauty, the quality of detail in the Koi, and the flowing 'watery' effect to the layout.
Catch this in the light, and it's shines, from a deep blue to a sea green.
The Koi themselves are beauties. So powerfull looking but yet so gracefull.
I'm sure when Vixen made this design, she knew she was onto a winner.
For me, my favourite piece of work from her so far, and one of my favourite designs on Forza 2.

Great idea for a thread Timmy.
I have so many awesome designs from some of Forza 2's greatest artists / designers I had to chose from.
So hard to pick only 3 (wonder what I would of picked if I could of picked my own lol).
Looking forward to see everybody elses faves, maybe some classics, or some rarities that I've never seen before.

Anyway, enough rambling from me, I can hear the paintshop calling ;)

Another of Panda Twin Turbo's amazing designs. I could have chosen the Tenzo R, but I like the way the Carrera howls


This paint is by a Japanese artist, and although it's not my favourite layout, the skill with which he's painted the same image in three different ways( Photo realistic, a Negative effect, and a shadow and light painting effect) is astounding.


Balrog by little Vixen. Beautifully rendered, lovely colour use and a superb flow to the design. Plus it's a favourite movie of mine and its on a Ferrari GTO. How could it not be one of my favourites?lol


There were at least 50-60 other paints that would have been just as good to choose, it's an impossible job to choose just three.lol

1.  Seven Samurai by DT 31770

On a Nissan S14 - This car holds much sentimental value as it is one of my most favortie cars. This car not only shows the fine craftsmanship of the paint and design but the entire DT Team (DT 31770, DT Rascal, Three 00 C) also banded together to work a tune for it. DT posted stages of his design on the forum guiding people through the process of his creativity as well as his attention to detail. Then the Team informed everyone how they were working on a tune for it. So much attention and fine craftsmanship was poured into this ride that you felt you yourself were part of the process. Then when I was fortunate enough to be able to own one of these I fell in love with it so it gets a good bit of usage on the tracks.

 

2. Marilyn Monroe by Delbrownio

As part of an entry into The B&B (Beauty & Beast contest) this is on an Honda Aerogear Integra Type-R. The regular stock car is ugly as hell but then Delbrownio put this beauty on the car and sold me one and I've never seen the Aerogear in more beautiful shape! This car also sports a nice little free community A class (A850) tune from Drizze of AG Tuning. My grattitude goes out to both of you.

3.  "The Griffin" - Little Vixen

It's not everyday a fantasy artist grants a request.  But Vixen had a griffin design, and I had a tuned Lotus Cup 240, so it all seemed to come together and work out.  My 265E and 270E tunes received some pretty positive feedback and when I reached out to this individual for a LE design I was awestruck by the design that followed.  I guess now collectors out there may try to acquire all 3 (the griffin, the 265E, & the 270E) designs since the "project" paint was only sent to friends as a "test paint".  The Griffin and feathers on the car really make the car seem fast, nimble, and lightweight.  It was an honor to even have a hand in it's design (well moreover it's tuning) and I fly/drive it almost on a daily basis.  Only 25 were made, and fewer were sold as Vixen let me control what happened to them I opted to give many of them away to friends in the game.

ok heres one, technically its not in my garage, but it was part of my collection before my profile screwed up again, atleast i got pics of it though. im not a mariners fan (go red sox) but as a big baseball fan, i do like ichiro, and IMO the japanese artist who did this, did an amazing job.

(note although this is my first pic, this isnt my favorite, dont currently have pics of my other 2 favs)

This car is an absolute work of art (done by Redesign, Ssikpiyelnats, StevemKrenz, Steve Sq, and XI Crown IX).  Beautiful!  I just need a competitive tune for it now.

I love the House of M car (done by Sternum).  The Scarlet Witch on the hood is pure classic

Stole the pic, but I just got this car the other night from FTG Dra Radda.  This car is spot on to the short-lived Clerks Cartoon.  Add the quotes from the movies and it is an instant masterpiece.

Ok, so i have slowly been taking photos of my garage and putting them up on photobucket.. Only about halfway done, so out of the photos I have I decided to do 1 of each of my favorite categories.. Of course 1 Star Wars, 1 fantasy, and 1 comic.....      I also tried to find cool cars that people here might not have seen, since they are from a long time ago...  But, I LOVE ALL MY CARS!!! Especially from all the talented artists on the forums...  someone already posted panda's tenzoR car and of course DT's Seven Samurai but thats fairly new... So... [edit]  sorry had to change 1..
